The witch cheerleader costume is a popular choice for Halloween parties and events. It combines two classic themes - witches and cheerleaders - to create a unique and eye-catching outfit. This costume typically includes a black and purple cheerleading uniform, complete with a pleated skirt, crop top, and pom poms. The uniform is often adorned with witch-themed details such as stars, moons, or broomstick graphics. To complete the look, the costume may also include accessories like a witch hat, stockings, and knee-high boots. Some versions may even come with a broomstick prop or a wand to further enhance the witch element.

The witch cheerleader costume allows wearers to embody the playful spirit of a cheerleader while also embracing the mystical and magical allure of a witch. It is a versatile costume choice that can be playful, spooky, or even sexy depending on how it is accessorized and styled.

"Charlie Chan in Black Magic" übernimmt erneut das Erfolgsrezept, das Krimi- mit dem Horrorgenre zu vermischen - diesmal werden tödliche Séancen abgehalten und Menschen in einen hypnoseähnlichen Zustand versetzt. Trotz interessanter Zutaten zieht sich der Film sehr, bis es zu einem trickreichen Final kommt.

. or Charlie Chan in Meeting at Midnight. The meeting is a seance and the plot involves hypnotism, blackmail and (literal) skullduggery. An exciting sounding brew, am I right? Alas, the scripting prowess and production values of Monogram Chan movies make their presence felt and if a pulse is quickened by this, the viewer may already be a corpse. Time-passing but in no way essential.

Not a boring attempt at Charlie Chan mystery by Monogram, but they really tried too hard with this script making it spectacular with the clairvoyance angle. I love that they hired Frances Chan to play Frances Chan, the daughter of Charlie Chan. Her second time she played his daughter, as she did so 11 years earlier when she was a child too, which I found quite interesting, considering she didn't really have much of a movie career. Oh, and is it me, or does Sidney Toler give less and less effort with his character? Regardless, these Chan movies are still entertaining, even if handled by a smaller studio.

From Shoreline Entertainment & poverty row studio Monogram Pictures comes another Charlie Chan mystery starring Sidney Toler as Chan. Dated and not at all PC. Directed by Phil Rosen.

"Mr. Chan you sure did lose some weight"

One of the better Chan entries I've seen and Sidney Toller is in fine form. The hilarious Mantan Moreland gets more screen time than usual and that's a good thing. Lots of nasty Chan zingers in this one too. Daughter: "You know Pop, I got an idea about this Bonner case."
Chan: "Water on brain now leaking, huh?" Cop: "Chan, what about that bullet?"
Chan: "You can keep secret?"
Cop: "Of course."
Chan: "So can I." (leaves)

I want to attack Charlie Chan for how poorly he treats every single one of his children

Despite the welcome addition of Mantan Moreland, I didn't like this one as well as most of the others. Frankly, I didn't care for Frances Chan's acting.

Charlie Chan seems to like his daughter Frances better than his other children. You know what? I agree.

Charlie Chan talking to ghosts.

THE CHARLIE CHAN PROJECT #27 The twenty-seventh in my revisit to the Charlie Chan movies of the 1930s/1940s. Surely you've seen those murder mysteries in which the killer sets up some elaborate physical process to do in his victim while making it hard for the police to determine how the crime could have been committed. You know, the ones with a poison-dart gun rigged inside the grandfather clock, or the chandelier that falls when the victim plays a certain note on the piano? If you have, perhaps you've said to yourself, "Why didn't he just shoot him in a dark alley, instead of setting up something so complicated that dozens of things could go wrong?" Well, should that type of…

Just when I thought I was stuck at the bottom of the Chan film barrel, Black Magic comes along and reminds me what the good life is like. Seances, hypnosis, bullets made of frozen blood, Birmingham Brown. Black Magic has it all. I really liked the choice to not include Tommy, number 3 son, in this film. His role as sidekick sleuth is filled admirably by Frances, one of Charlie’s daughters. She is a sight for sore eyes, bringing a lightheartedness that was sorely missing with Tommy. There are some quite intense moments as well, the main one coming when Charlie is hypnotized and in peril. Black Magic is a Chan film winner; hopefully this bodes well for the Toler home stretch 78/100
