Stepping right over their 1986 album, Christmas With The Jets, my return visit to the group is their 1987 album, Magic. Having not really gotten into their 1985 self titles album, I wasn't honestly expecting much from this particular record.
By sending robots to fight in our place, we can potentially save lives and prevent casualties. However, this concept is not without its controversies and ethical concerns. The use of fully autonomous robots raises questions about accountability and the potential for misuse of such technology. If machines are making the decisions to engage in combat, who should be held responsible for the consequences of those actions? Furthermore, there are concerns about the potential for robots to become too advanced and pose a threat to humanity. While Witch Doctor is a controlled robot built for entertainment purposes, the idea of fully autonomous killing machines is unsettling to many. The fear is that if we give robots the power to kill, it could potentially lead to unintended consequences and spiraling out of control.
