Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a pretty princess named Mia. Mia lived in a magnificent castle surrounded by a magical garden. This garden was filled with an array of breathtaking flowers, towering trees, and mystical creatures. Mia loved spending her days exploring the magical garden, discovering its hidden wonders. As she walked through the garden, Mia could feel the plants whispering to her, guiding her towards their beauty. She would touch the petals of vibrant roses, which bloomed in all shades of pink, and marvel at their delicate fragrance.

When she began her current television role, Catherine Bell didn’t know she’d play a witch this long.

Having launched the Hallmark Channel franchise with a series of TV movies, the actress returns as the magical Cassie when the weekly version of “Good Witch” starts its seventh season Sunday. While whimsy and romance remain present, the new round also has a continuing mystery involving pouches of soil that Cassie (Bell, also an executive producer of the show) and her cousins Abigail and Joy (Sarah Power and “Wynonna Earp’s” Katherine Barrell) have acquired.

“Every once in a while, I’ll see one of the original movies and think, ‘Wow. We’ve come so far,’ ” the pleasant Bell noted. “The first movie was 13 years ago, which seems like a lifetime. When we started the series, we changed things a little bit. Giving Cassie a teenage daughter and a new relationship (with James Denton’s Dr. Sam Radford, now Cassie’s husband) made her magic a little less effective, and I think that just makes it more interesting. She’s not perfect.

“She’s still very positive, though,” added Bell. “She has a beautiful perspective on life, which is what I think draws so many people to the show. The movies were a slow evolution, then things flashed forward about 10 years in the series, and even that has evolved. Now, three witchy cousins are brewing things up, and we’ve been reintroducing the level of magic we had in the movies. That’s been fun, because we’d gotten away from that.”

Catherine Bell stars in the season premiere of "Good Witch" Sunday on Hallmark Channel.

One episode that lets “Good Witch” shake things up — somewhat literally — this season has a “Grease” theme. “That was so much fun to do,” Bell said. “It should be a delight for fans to see us in those different roles. The costumes and sets were amazing.” As for which character she represents, Bell reveals that she’s “a little more Sandy. Remember when Olivia Newton-John wore the black tights at the end of the movie?”

Also a staple of Hallmark movies such as the recent “Meet Me at Christmas,” Bell reprised her “JAG” role as Lt. Col. Sarah “Mac” MacKenzie in several episodes of CBS’ “NCIS: Los Angeles.” The coronavirus pandemic thwarted her planned return to that show, but she hints it still isn’t out of the question.

“I was supposed to make another appearance this season,” she said, “but with COVID, everything was thrown off. By the time they started filming, I was headed to Canada (for ‘Good Witch’ and other work). Scott Gemmill, the (‘NCIS: LA’) showrunner, is a dear friend — we worked together on ‘JAG’ — and we talk all the time, so there’s the idea of bringing Mac back somewhere.”

They are immediately spellbound by the mother-daughter duo next door, but Sam and Cassie quickly find they don’t see eye to eye.

Stephanie (Kylee Evans), the owner of a local bistro, is smitten with the town’s new doctor. It would be unseemly to complain about your show being cancelled after seven seasons, and I won’t. I’ve been very fortunate to have been on other long-running series, but Good Witch was special. The fans were so devoted to the show and I’m disappointed for them, but I hope they know how much the actors appreciated their vocal support. The cast was the nicest collection of wildly talented people I’ve ever been around. The producers treated us extremely well, and I’m happy to still have two movies to make with the network so I’m not saying goodbye to the Hallmark audience yet.

Mia would sit by the water's edge, watching it sparkle and listening to the soft melodies of a fairy choir. She felt at peace in this magical oasis and cherished the moments she spent there. The creatures in the garden were just as whimsical as the flora. Mia often spotted graceful unicorns gracefully galloping through the meadows, their manes flowing in the wind, and faeries flitting through the air, leaving behind trails of sparkling fairy dust. She would giggle and try to catch their attention, but they always seemed to be too busy with important tasks. Her favorite part of the garden was the Rainbow Grove, a place where every hue of the rainbow was represented in bright, blooming flowers. Mia would spend hours wandering through this vibrant paradise, feeling as if she had stepped into a painting. It was here that she often found inspiration for her own colorful wardrobe, as she loved to wear dresses adorned with flowers that mimicked the garden's marvelous colors. Mia knew that she was lucky to have such an extraordinary garden. She understood that it was a gift from the magical beings that inhabited the land. In return, she would care for the garden with love and gratitude. Mia would water the plants, remove any weeds, and ensure that the garden was always thriving. The magical garden served as a reminder to Mia that beauty could be found in even the smallest things. It taught her to appreciate nature's wonders and to always embrace the magic that surrounds her. Through her adventures in the garden, Mia learned the value of kindness, compassion, and respect for all living things. As Mia grew older, she became known as the Princess of the Pretty Princess Magical Garden. Visitors from near and far would travel to witness the enchantment of the garden and to meet the princess who had nurtured it with so much love. Mia knew that her responsibility was to share the magic and beauty of the garden with others, just as it had been shared with her. And so, the Pretty Princess Magical Garden continued to flourish, enchanting all who entered its gates. It remained a symbol of hope, wonder, and the everlasting power of nature's magic. And Princess Mia would forever be its guardian, ensuring that its beauty would be celebrated for generations to come..

Reviews for "Magical Elements Every Pretty Princess Garden Should Have"

1. Jane - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed with "Pretty princess magical garden". The storyline was predictable and cliché, and the characters lacked depth and development. The princess was portrayed as this perfect and flawless character, which made it hard to relate to her struggles. Furthermore, the graphics and animation were not up to par with other similar games in the market. Overall, it felt like a mediocre and uninspired game that failed to live up to the hype.
2. Alex - 1/5 stars - I cannot understand why "Pretty princess magical garden" has such positive reviews. The game is incredibly monotonous and lacks any real challenges or interesting gameplay mechanics. The tasks are repetitive and offer no sense of accomplishment. Additionally, the in-app purchases and constant ads make it feel like a money-grabbing scheme rather than a true gaming experience. I would not recommend wasting your time or money on this game.
3. Sarah - 2/5 stars - "Pretty princess magical garden" is a prime example of a generic and unimaginative mobile game. The gameplay is extremely simplistic and quickly becomes boring. The activities within the garden are limited, and there are no exciting surprises or hidden features to keep players engaged. The graphics and sound effects are also subpar, making the whole experience feel lackluster. I had high hopes for this game, but it failed to deliver anything remotely interesting or captivating.
