Put your basketball sneakers on hold, and grab your running shoes for the annual Orlando Magic 5k and Kids’ Run presented by AdventHealth! Celebrate the start of basketball season with a run to benefit the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation. After the race, all participants are invited to enjoy “Orlando Magic Fan Fest on Church Street” to experience the same party atmosphere that fans enjoy on game days! It’s fun for all ages, with music, entertainment, activities, and more. The excitement of game day doesn’t end there! The 5k and Kids’ Run also include a ticket to an Orlando Magic game. Let’s get ready to run, walk, party, celebrate and cheer on the Magic together!

Keeping Central Florida Fit is our mission. Walkers are encouraged to participate in all Track Shack races. The City of Orlando encourages runners and walkers in this 5k to complete 3.1 miles within one hour. Participants who do not maintain that pace will be directed to the sidewalk by race officials.

1 Mile Fun Run

The 1 mile run is an non-timed fun run. Participants receive a bib, shirt and finisher medal.

Wicca is a more structured and organized form of witchcraft, with its own set of rituals, ceremonies, and traditions. Wiccans often work in covens, which are groups of practitioners who come together to celebrate the cycles of the moon and perform rituals. Wiccans also have a reverence for deities, particularly the Horned God and the Triple Goddess, and may incorporate invocations and prayers into their rituals. The use of tools such as the athame (ritual dagger) and the chalice is also common in Wiccan practice. Another contrasting style of witchcraft is Hoodoo, which originates from the African American community in the United States. Hoodoo is a blend of African, Native American, and European magical traditions and often incorporates elements of folk medicine and spirituality. Hoodoo practitioners may work with herbs, roots, and oils to create charms, potions, and spiritual baths. They may also perform rituals involving candle magic and divination. Hoodoo is often practiced alongside Christianity, with practitioners incorporating biblical verses and prayers into their spellwork. Overall, witchcraft practices vary greatly in style and approach. Traditional Witchcraft, Wicca, and Hoodoo are just a few examples of the contrasting styles of witchcraft that exist.
