In fanfiction, one popular plot point is when the character Naruto is branded with the curse mark by the villainous Orochimaru. The Overwatch 2 Witch Kiriko skin is scary expensive
You probably already knew that the Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror skins are expensive - but did you know just how expensive they are? Overwatch 2's Witch Kiriko skin is being lambasted on social media for how pricey it is, and players are pointing out how it's indicative of Overwatch 2's problematic pricing scheme.
I spoke about this at length in my latest piece about Overwatch 2's Halloween Event but because of the way Blizzard has priced these items, it's hard to imagine that these decision were made in good faith. The Halloween event items are both restrictively expensive and priced in such a manner that you often have to spend more money than they're worth because of the way Overwatch coin purchasing options are - or you're forced to buy a bundle of items because the skins are unavailable for individual purchase. The player base, which has already pointed out the battle pass expenses and the cost of skins that have come as a consequence of Overwatch 2 going free-to-play, are even more frustrated with the Halloween event, which is magnifying these issues.
Popular Overwatch 2 Twitch streamer Stylosa pointed out that the Witch Kiriko skin is $25, and you have to buy the bundle - there's no way to get the skin separately in the store. But Junker Queen's new Halloween skin is, inexplicably, available for individual purchase. But the egregiousness of these paid cosmetics are even worse in Australia, as esports player and Twitch streamer Frogger points out. Because Overwatch 2 doesn't have localized pricing, the Witch Kiriko bundle costs $37 AUD. "That's like 4 trips to the local KFC LOOOL, its not fair to like. any players at all," he writes on Twitter.
Here's hoping that Blizzard sorts out the Overwatch 2 store and skin situation, because right now the Halloween event doesn't bode well for the cost of future event skins.

Although the Kiriko Halloween skin itself is nice, the bundle it's sold in drew criticisms from Overwatch 2 players.
October 27, 2022 2 min readAlthough the Kiriko Halloween skin itself is pretty good-looking, the bundle that it's a part of is anything but. Keep reading to learn more about the Kiriko skin bundle that earned the criticism of Overwatch 2 players.
The Halloween Event titled Halloween Terror 2022 is currently ongoing in Overwatch 2. While the main feature added during the event is the Player vs Enemy or PvE modes, the limited edition skins are also part of the fun. There are a variety of themed skins available right now, including the aforementioned Witch Kiriko skin bundle. The bundle costs 2600 Overwatch coins (roughly $25 in value) and includes the skin, a weapon charm, an icon, a play of the game highlight intro, and a player name card. While a bundle is nice as it usually includes more items than what you paid for, that isn't the case here.
One of the biggest qualms players have is that the Halloween Kiriko skin is not available on its own. As a comparison, the Junker Queen Executioner skin is available on its own and is worth around $20. A lot of players would rather just buy the skin, as it would be cheaper than the bundle. Blizzard, however, does not allow this. If players want the Kiriko skin, they have to pay for the whole bundle.
Some players brought up the fact that buying the Battle Pass (which is worth 1000 Overwatch coins, or around $10) is better. This is due to the fact that the Battle Pass gives a total of eight skins. This includes the Epic Genji skin, which is basically multiple skins in one. Not only that, but players also get a lot of sprays, weapon charms, and more. Sure, it takes work to level the Battle Pass. However, it's still better than having to spend more than double for just one Kiriko skin.

What's even funnier is that players who did buy the bundle somehow ended up in debt. Players have reported their Overwatch coin balance dipping into the negative as if they were charged twice for their purchase. There is currently no news as to why this happened, and the Blizzard isn't really much use as all it tells the player to do is contact customer support.
The Halloween Terror event is currently ongoing and will end on November 8, 2022. Overwatch 2 itself is free-to-play and is available on Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. For more details about the event, click here.

The Overwatch 2 Halloween event just dropped and the prices of some of the cosmetics have left players disappointed. There is one new cosmetic in particular that players have taken an issue with and some have even claimed it is possibly illegal. A Kiriko Witch skin is available only as part of a bundle with additional cosmetics and there is no way to get the standalone skin. This can have legal repercussions in some countries according to some fans.
