The museum is open Wednesday through Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a proud partner of the Culture Shock Miami program, an audience development program of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs that is designed to introduce the next generation of audience members to art and cultural experiences. We offer a quiet session in The Magic Garden, aimed at those living with or caring for someone with Autism, or those who have any other sensory needs, and their families and carers.
We prioritize hands-on, experiential learning, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Our students have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, a well-stocked library, and technologically advanced classrooms. Additionally, we understand the importance of extracurricular activities in the overall development of our students.
The Magic Garden
Come face to face with mysterious mythical beasts, storm the battlements, besiege the towers and explore the secret grotto in this magical children's playground.
The Magic Garden provides a unique way for your family to explore the history of Hampton Court Palace.
Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance. Please be aware that during busy periods, there is a time limit to give everyone the chance to visit.
The Dragon's Nest is currently closed.

The garden is open in line with palace opening hours until 29 October 2023.
- The Magic Garden entry is included in your admission ticket (members go free). Pre-booking is advised for all visitors including members. Magic Garden only tickets are not available.
- We cannot guarantee entry to the Magic Garden, entry is on a strictly first come, first served basis and queueing at busy times is highly likely for visitors and members.
- Adults without children will not be allowed access due to safeguarding.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at the Magic House. The admission fee was outrageously expensive, especially considering how unimpressive the exhibits were. The staff seemed disinterested and unenthusiastic about their work, which made the whole visit feel lackluster. There was also a lack of interactive activities for both kids and adults, making it a rather boring outing. Overall, I do not recommend wasting your time and money at the Magic House.

I had high expectations for the Magic House, but unfortunately, it fell short of them. The admission price was exorbitant, and there were numerous additional fees for certain exhibits, which felt like a money-grab. The exhibits themselves were outdated and in need of refurbishment. The staff members were not particularly helpful or friendly either. It's a shame because I was hoping for a magical and immersive experience, but all I got was a lackluster and overpriced visit.
