Wow, that's pretty cool. Bianka and Daniel Schmitt show again what creativity they have in them, Riesling mash fermented, unusual tastes but so fantastic. Voodoo Doll: Riesling freshness paired with caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon peel and very fine tannin.
Since the wine is still very young, we recommend opening it at least 24 hours before drinking it, after 2 days we found it to be the best and most open. Or let it mature in the cellar for 1-15 years. We see enormous mature potential.
The Voodoo Doll is a very slightly oxidative Riesling. An interesting interplay between mild tannins and aromas of ripe citrus fruits. Served slightly cool, it is an ideal aperitif, but also goes well with appetizer plates or cheese.
