It had a strange combination of scents that didn't blend well together. The peony note was barely detectable, and instead, there was a heavy, sweet floral smell that gave me a headache. I would not recommend this fragrance to anyone looking for a natural and light peony scent.
2. John - 2/5 stars - The Merlot magical peony fragrance was nothing like I expected. Instead of a delicate and elegant peony scent, it smelled like a cheap air freshener. The fragrance was cloying and overpowering, making it difficult to breathe whenever I wore it. It also had a strange lingering chemical undertone that did not sit well with me. I'll be sticking to other peony fragrances in the future.
3. Laura - 2/5 stars - As a fan of peony fragrances, I was excited to try Merlot magical peony, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The scent was too artificial and had a synthetic sweetness that was off-putting. It lacked the soft, powdery notes that I associate with a true peony fragrance.
