If you had told me years ago that I would be writing an angel book on wealth, I would have thought that either you were on drugs or I was on drugs. Based on who I was back then, it would probably have been the latter. But here I am doing what I would have deemed impossible, and of course, I have the angels to thank for that.
If you’ve read my previous book, The Angel Experiment, then you know that I first encountered the angels through a miracle that set me on my extraordinary journey toward manifesting a life beyond my wildest dreams. To offer you an idea of how astonishing this is, let me give you the quick skinny on who I am and a bit about where I’m from.
I’m a half Chicana and half Puerto Rican woman who didn’t come from money. As a matter of fact, I had so little cash for a time in my younger years that I lived in one of the barrios of Los Angeles in a former crack house in an alley within an alley within an alley. Yes, you had to drive through three alleys to get to my house. Did you even know that was possible?
I lived in the Sangra and Lomas gang territory, with frequent drive-by shootings, drug running, and the like. To add fuel to the fire, my mother passed away when I was a teenager, which sent me on a very serious path of self-destruction. Even though I was a college student by day, I struggled by night with all the worst drugs, along with alcohol and depression. I even had a tiny adventure in jail because of these struggles.
You get the picture, right? Have you seen the stats on the upward mobility of poor, depressed brown women with drug problems and a little jail time? Yup, they’re pretty dang low. There was nothing in my early history to indicate that I could have the life, the career, and the wealth that I have today.
In fact, one of the inspirations for me to write this book was that I manifested an extraordinary $150K back in 2020, during the first big Covid lockdown, by drawing upon the magical methods I share with you here. I don’t usually like to throw numbers around publicly, but I’m compelled to divulge this financial miracle to you so that you know what’s possible by using this kind of wealth magic.
Back in 2020, I struggled with navigating my work-home life balance. My role as CEO of my own business was in direct conflict with suddenly having two kids schooling from home full-time during Covid. Like so many parents out there, I made the decision to reduce my work hours and focus on helping my family navigate this new, extra-bizarre era as gracefully as possible.
But then I somehow had to try to make up for the loss of income. So what did I do? I did what I always do when I need to solve a big, juicy mind-f*ck of a problem. I asked the angels for help, and they inspired me to do some wealth magic. I dug deep into my magical arsenal and created a wealth ritual to help me attract $200K. I thought that amount was a serious long shot but decided to ask anyway.
Within two weeks of completing that ritual, I received an email saying that I qualified for a $150K extra-low-interest business loan — as in virtually free money. I couldn’t believe my eyes, mainly because I didn’t remember ever applying for a $150K loan. Wouldn’t you remember if you asked someone for $150K? I was so baffled that I asked my hubby if he somehow managed to apply for that amount. He didn’t do it either.
Then I remembered my wealth ritual and realized, yet again, how over-the-top amazing and miraculous working with angels can be.
That night I went outside in my backyard to do a gratitude ceremony. I lit a fire, made some offerings, and thanked the Creator, the angels, my ancestors, and Spirit for always showing how wildly creative they can be when supporting me.
As I sat by the fire, I thought of the parents around the world trying to homeschool and work at the same time. I thought of all the folks who lost their jobs during lockdown. I thought of the small-business owners who were struggling to keep their businesses alive. And I thought of all the marginalized folks out there who even without Covid were never given the chance for a hand up. It became clear that the miracle that just happened to my family wasn’t meant for me to keep to myself.
