About our REDMAGIC 3 review: This review was written after testing the device for one week. The handset was unlocked and was tested on O2's network in the UK. The REDMAGIC 3 review unit was supplied by nubia.

The Red Magic 3S even costs the same as the Red Magic 3, at least on Nubia s website, although the older device may be more affordable now elsewhere. Games like Metroid Prime or Mario Sunshine on Dolphin go from being exercises in frustration to actually quite playable with those accessible triggers.

One of the highlights of Magic Waffle is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients. Nubia Red Magic 3 - 2 weeks of use review

This is for the first version (v3.0) of the global rom.

**My short thoughts**This phone feels like a worthy successor nexus 6p, but without the software support. If the camera issues are fixed, this would be the best value phone to get for the money. Comes with zero bloatwear.

There is almost no lag. 90hz makes the os super smooth. Animations are great, no seemingly dropped frames. Finger print sensor is very fast.

Phone is pretty big. You will probably need to use it with two hands. gCam launches almost instantly, the nubia camera takes like 1/2 a second. Overall, a joy to use.

Reception is good to great on this phone. In same areas, rm3 is about 1-2db better in reception than xiaomi mi 8 & lg g7 for reception, speeds remained the same (tested at&t & tmobile lte, same band).

Wifi is great. My home internet connection speed is 450 / 20. Stock settings two rooms over I get about 250-300 dl / 20 up. With root and wifi bonding, my connection gets maxed out at 450/ 20.

No issues with bluetooth. Has all the normal bluetooth codecs + apt x.

GPS is great and uses very little battery. It's fast to connect, and is fairly accurate.

Phone calls sound fine, no issues. Speaker phone is decently loud, although I wish it could be 3db louder.

Screen overall is a joy to use. AMOLED Panel, 90hz. Colors are good and not over saturated like similarly priced phones. Excellent detail and hdr10. Currently the screen always runs at 90hz, the option to turn it to "auto" or "60hz" does not work. Currently there is no dc dimming. The rounded corners slightly cut off parts of the screen, but it's not a big deal. Seems like all the new phones have this "feature".

The phone gets decently loud, and front firing speakers are nicer than bottom firing ones. There is no equalizer installed on the phone. Peak db playing music is around 67 db.

The default setup of the speakers is: High/mids only for top speaker, full range for bottom speaker. The highs on this phone at stock settings max volume hurt my ears, it's not very good. Using v4a you can tune the speakers to sound very pleasant, and have decent amount of bass and loudness. Overall the speakers can be tuned to be very loud and good sounding with no distortion at max volume.

With the screen on, the rm3 will drain about 7% to 15% of battery per hour, depending on your brightness. Standby drains about 0.5% per hour. I find myself getting about 9-10 hours sot over two days.

Phone is huge, and is awesome for videos / games. Texting it's okay, I found my right thumb getting cramps the first week of using this phone because I kept trying to use it one-handed.

The amp on this phone is really good, can power 99% of portable headphones. Was able to power my HiFiMan - HE-300's better than my LG G7. The dac is the standard Qualcomm one, its okay.

They're all clickly and fine. The capacitive buttons mess with the screen when you touch them not in game and you're watching youtube or something, it brings up the overlay. On the chinese rom it doesnt do this.

It's great at iso 100. I havent looked into it, but pretty sure Nubia stripped out too much of the os, and the photos aren't using hdr / all the hardware features of the sony camera. Gcam currently does not work properly. It's missing some framework or something. No raw support currently. 8k video is useless. 4k video is fine.

It's stock aosp. No touch controls, but you can use a third party one.

All that's there is the game launcher, led launcher, camera (see camera for issues). Its all works as you would expect it to.

**Nubia Support**Pretty much, nonexistent. Emailed them 1.5 weeks ago about dc dimming and they just ignore me both on facebook and their official support email.

Actual Phone Issues:

- Stock speaker settings are bad.

- Missing DC Dimming feature

- Something is seriously wrong with the camera functionality.

Fixable with Root:

- Speakers via v4a

- Skins / Themes via substratum

- Gesture Navigation via various apps on the play store (ex. fluid ng).

PS. Questions you might have.

 1. Yes, the fan does cool down the phone a bit lol.
 2. Rooting is extremely easy and does not void your warranty.
 3. It's stock android Pie.
 4. There's a lot of people / devs in China that seem to have bought this phone, but not as much globally.
 5. 4g works on tmobile, at&t, sprint, & verzion. Verizon is the only one I have not tested, but it has the correct bands. Missing band 71 for tmobile.
 6. The phone comes with a plastic screen protector on it already. It's pretty nice.
 7. The phone does not have nfc.
 8. The phone durability is pretty good. I've dropped it a few times on concrete on accident and no issues yet.
 9. Apparently there's a rumor of a 5g addon that doubles as a phone case.

**EDIT** I received a few pms on how to root, better guides are on xda, but here's something quick. (Unlocking bootloader wipes your data)

Reviews for "Experience a Waffle Wonderland in Jacksonville, FL"

1. John - 1 star
I recently visited Magic Waffle in Jacksonville and was severely disappointed. The service was slow and inefficient; it took forever for our orders to come out. When our waffles finally arrived, they were cold and unappealing. The toppings were scarce and the presentation was subpar. The overall taste was mediocre at best; the waffles were bland and lacked the fluffy, golden texture I was expecting. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality waffle experience.
2. Sarah - 2 stars
I had high hopes for Magic Waffle in Jacksonville, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making the whole dining experience quite lackluster. The waffles themselves were average at best; they lacked the crispiness and flavor I was looking for. The toppings were unimpressive and did not add much to the overall taste. While the concept of a magic waffle is intriguing, the execution fell flat for me. I won't be returning to this establishment anytime soon.
3. Kevin - 2.5 stars
While the idea of a magic waffle intrigued me, my visit to Magic Waffle in Jacksonville left me unimpressed. The atmosphere was lackluster, and the service was subpar. The waffles themselves were nothing out of the ordinary; they tasted like regular waffles with little added magic. The toppings were average, and although they had a variety of options, none of them stood out in terms of flavor or quality. Overall, I found the experience to be overhyped and underwhelming. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place again.
