When we first moved to our homestead, I wasn’t much of a flower garden person. I really didn’t see the point in tending flowers, when I could tend vegetables instead and feed my family.

Lilac wine is lovely, and the kids loved these lilac donuts. Hostas make up a good portion of our gardens, and not only are hostas edible, but they also taste spectacular. The shoots taste like a cross between leeks and asparagus, and the flowers are mild and a bit sweet.
Roses are both edible and medicinal, and they often make their way into our kitchen every year for rose cordial.
Learning that peonies are edible really excited me because we have so many of these fragrant blooms.

1. Jennifer - 2/5 - The Magic linen tea towels were a huge disappointment for me. I had heard great things about them, but when I received them, I found them to be quite average. The quality of the fabric was not as impressive as I had expected, and the towels were not as absorbent as I had hoped. Additionally, after just a few uses and washes, I noticed that the towels started to fray and lose their shape. Overall, I do not think these tea towels are worth the price and I would not recommend them.

I have tried washing them multiple times, hoping it would improve their performance, but unfortunately, it did not. I would advise anyone looking for tea towels to steer clear of these.
