Magical Forest and Halloween at Opportunity Village Opportunity Village is a non-profit organization based in Las Vegas that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Every year, they host an event called the Magical Forest, which is a winter wonderland filled with lights, decorations, and various activities. However, in recent years, they have also added a special Halloween-themed event to their lineup, known as Halloween at Opportunity Village. The Magical Forest takes place from November to January and offers visitors a chance to experience the holiday season in a unique and enchanting way. The entire forest is adorned with millions of sparkling lights, creating a magical atmosphere that is sure to delight people of all ages. There are numerous attractions and activities for everyone to enjoy, including a train ride, carousel, gingerbread house display, and a magical avalanche slide.
The sprawling Cloud 9 Spa is 22,700 square feet and takes up several decks in the ship's fore. Come here for a variety of treatments, including acupuncture, body sculpting, hot-stone massages and facials. A 50-minute stone massage costs $149, and facials begin at about the same price. We found good deals on port days, though, and the service itself was very good. The spa is run by Steiner and uses Elemis products; if you don't want a sales pitch afterward, just say so.
The most popular seats here are the benches placed under thatched palapas, where you can dip your feet in the water while remaining in the shade though you ll probably be sitting butt cheek to butt cheek during prime sun hours. There s also a chat feature for a fee that allows you to communicate with friends and family onboard, although we heard from many that messages came through on sometimes ludicrous time delays.
There are numerous attractions and activities for everyone to enjoy, including a train ride, carousel, gingerbread house display, and a magical avalanche slide. Visitors can also explore the forest's pathways, which are lined with beautifully decorated trees and displays. Halloween at Opportunity Village is a newer addition to their events calendar and takes place during the month of October.

I was really disappointed with the Magical Forest and Halloween event at Opportunity Village. The decorations were lackluster and seemed hastily put together. The so-called "magical" atmosphere was non-existent, and it felt more like a cheap carnival than an enchanted forest. The "scary" elements of the Halloween section were laughable and not at all frightening. I expected a lot more from this event and unfortunately, it fell way short of my expectations.

I would not recommend this event to anyone looking for a fun and festive Halloween experience.
