Chris and Elisa Cirri appeared with a magical offer on the holiday special of Shark Tankseason 13. They wanted the help of one of the Sharks to increase the production of their “magical mailboxes,” delivering mail directly to Santa.
The idea for Santa’s Enchanted Mailbox came to Chris in 2016 when he saw his son’s reaction to his fan mailto Santa disappearing in their decorative mailbox.
Of course, the disappearance wasn’t real; he only had to distract his son long enough for his wife to do the trick. The true magic was his son’s joy, making Chris wonder if he could help it spread to other kids.
The couple enlisted the help of Elisa’s stepfather to make the prototype using wood; he later used a 3D printer to refine the first model. They tested it on their son, and his reaction told them they were onto something.
Chris and Elisa took a leap of faith by launching Santa’s Enchanted Mailbox and ended up with 100,000 units by 2019. The couple was receiving mail from kids everywhere and wanted to know if the Sharks cared to mail in an offer too!
