Little Witch Nobet's Skin Little Witch Nobet was known all around for her magical powers and mischievous adventures. With her pointed hat and sparkling eyes, she would roam around the enchanted forest, casting spells and creating potions. One day, while exploring a hidden corner of the forest, Nobet stumbled upon a spellbook that caught her attention. It contained a recipe for a special potion that claimed to give her the most beautiful and flawless skin anyone had ever seen. Excited by the prospect of having perfect skin, the little witch decided to try the potion. She gathered all the ingredients mentioned in the spellbook and carefully followed the instructions.

The Fish in the Forest

Doc and Ceci White revisit their favorite Alaskan cruising grounds with cinematographers Gage Hingeley and Julian Clark filming the action.

Meanwhile, Doc captured over 7,000 photos along the way (for his next book).

Doc takes us on an epic journey following “The Fish in The Forest”. In the book, written by Dales Stokes (Scripps Institution of Oceanography), photographed by Doc White, the extraordinary interrelationship between the salmon, bears and the Great RainForest are explored and documented.

Enjoy this short film excursion into a cherished habitat.

…and please join us for the next adventure…Baja California.

"Our Backyard"

Sit back and enjoy cruising with Doc and Ceci White, as they head south along the California Coast, from San Francisco to San Diego, to explore "our backyard". One of the highlights is returning to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and revisiting friends. Offshore, they watch grays and humpbacks meander north, and a plethora of dolphin cruise with them as they head to Catalina Island. Northern Right Whale dolphin and Risso's dolphin move together in a pod, with baby calves in tow.

Awesome footage filmed by the Ocean Magic team:

Gage Hingeley and Julian Clark.

Thanks to Beneteau and their top-of-the-line Swift Trawler 47 for making the voyage possible, safe and comfortable.

And thanks to Helly Hansen for keeping everyone warm and dry.

Swift Pacific Adventure

Photo: Doc White/Harbor Seal

Excited to launch the Swift Pacific Adventure. Doc & Ceci White are heading off on another voyage, with our film crew, aboard Beneteau’s Swift Trawler 47. Join us as we explore our own backyard – the coastal Pacific. The newly launched Swift Trawler 47 has departed Seattle and is enroute to San Francisco, where the Ocean Magic Team will begin the San Francisco to San Diego leg. The Adventure includes exploring stunning coastal marine habitats, and the Channel Islands. It’s been an unusual year so far for viewing creatures who have wondered into local coastal waters - blue whales and Guadalupe fur seals have been spotted off Long Beach and Dana Point. We look forward to sharing photos and videos on this website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and BeauteauAmerica’s SwiftPacifcAdventure.com

Signing off from Juneau, Alaska

“ . About to head home after three incredible months transiting the inside passages of southeastern Alaska and BC. Many Thanks to our host, Tony Fleming, Captain Chris, and Helly Hansen for their generous support in making our adventure possible. As you can see from the Garmin tracker, our last few weeks have been busy, and the photos, more than words, best reflect our Ocean Magic experiences. We look forward to getting home and sorting through more than 7,000 images, as well as producing the film shot by our young crew:
Gage Hingeley and Julian Clark. I hope you will continue to follow our journey as we create the photographic and film narrative of Baja to Bering.
Out. ”

Ocean Magic Moments

Doc's July Update, from Pack Creek, Alaska:

“ Heading south in Chatham Strait, we slip quietly by a sea otter nursery. I’ve never seen so many otters with their pups, mid-channel, in deep water . seems unusual. We have 500’ under our keel. I get out my zoom lens for a close up of mom and pup. I couldn’t resist the panorama of the lone black bear feasting on sedge grass. he has the place all to himself. We drifted along mesmerized by the constant humpie pec slap. this went on for 10 to 15 minutes. Farther on, we arrive just in time to view a spectacular orca breech. Then we did our best to sneak by a gaggle of spotted seals hauled out on the ice. I couldn’t help but sympathize with the bald eagle teetering rather precariously on the finely sculpted ice floating by. Just now we are chugging toward Juneau. Looking forward to our excursion circumnavigating Admiralty Island with our film crew aboard. Cheers! ”

For All Your Video Needs - Video Magic Productions

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Bonnie Keith, Owner of Video Magic Productions, located in Santa Clarita, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Video Magic Productions- Video Creation and Video Marketing, helping to "Bring your vision to life while transforming your message into a visual masterpiece-one frame at a time." My customers are quite varied because I offer video and photography services for special occasions as well as videos for business promotion. My business clients tend to be small business owners who understand the power of video but have been too afraid or overwhelmed by the video creation process previously. My clients trust me to hold their hands and walk them through the process from beginning consultations to the finished product.

Tell us about yourself

Video Magic was born while fulfilling the needs of small business owners, salespeople, professionals, and artists. Started as RBK Color Video in 1979, VideoMagic re-emerged into the high-tech, digital world of today. Yet, our values have remained the same. Providing high-quality, cost-effective, creatively compelling videos, we use a marketing platform of personal branding to get your message directly to each customer. I have always worked towards perfecting any endeavor with which I am involved. Hungry for knowledge, growth, and striving for unlimited possibilities. I have reinvented myself several times. From a student to a professional working actress, a wife, mother, and owner of a Travel Agency, I started a Video Production Company and became an online entrepreneur, business coach, and mentor.

My goal is to inspire others to reach for their greatness and discover, explore, and nurture their many talents with video. I am honored to have received many awards for my videography services. ThreeBestRated.com has named VideoMagic as Best Video Production Service in Santa Clarita in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Also awarded Best Video Services Santa Clarita by Santa Clarita Awards two years in a row 2020 and 2021. Having a lifetime of experience on both sides of the "camera," I can help virtually anyone or any business bridge the gap from traditional advertising to the powerful medium of online video marketing. I offer services for Actor Demo reels, Sports Recruiting Videos, Corporate Videos, On Screen Video Tutorials, Training Videos, Video Life Diaries, Special Occasions, Live Events/Performances, Product Demos, Video Ads, and much more.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been the amazing feedback from my clients when the videos I create literally "move them to tears." My reputation in Santa Clarita, CA (where I built my business from scratch in 2008) is stellar. I have been awarded 6 different types of awards as Best Videographer Santa Clarita 2017-2023, Best Business in Video Services Santa Clarita 2020-2022, and Ultimate Wedding Videographer Santa Clarita 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Owning my own business is nothing new to me. I have owned several businesses because I want to be in control over all aspects of my business. However, that is also the greatest hardship as it puts all the pressure on one person-me. I find it hard to delegate duties and responsibilities and have had difficulty finding partners, associates, interns, or employees that have the same work ethics as I do. When I have discovered one of those rare individuals and trained them to see and do and feel about the business and our clients and product in the same way that I do, they become quite proficient. Unfortunately, it then becomes a challenge to retain these talented individuals, and they eventually move on. So then I have to start all over again with this tedious process.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You must have passion for your business and something beyond "making Money" as your motivation goal.
  2. Don't try to go from 1 to 100 in a day. Baby steps, Continuity. Consistency.
  3. Be sure to have a balance in your life. Find time for family and friends and take care of yourself on a personal level.

Where can people find you and your business?

She gathered all the ingredients mentioned in the spellbook and carefully followed the instructions. The potion was a mix of rare herbs, moonlight dew, and drops of a unicorn tear. As soon as she took a sip of the potion, Little Witch Nobet began to feel a tingling sensation in her skin.

She looked in the mirror, and to her astonishment, her skin started to glow with a radiant light. Her blemishes and imperfections disappeared, leaving behind a flawless complexion. Word quickly spread about Little Witch Nobet's magical skin. People from all over the kingdom wanted to get their hands on the potion that had transformed her appearance. Nobet started receiving requests and demands for the potion, and she saw an opportunity to start her own business. She set up a small shop in the enchanted forest where she brewed and sold her magical skin potion. People lined up every day to purchase the potion, hoping to achieve the same flawless skin as Little Witch Nobet. However, as the demand for the potion grew, so did the pressure on Nobet. She found herself spending long hours in her workshop, tirelessly brewing potion after potion. She became so focused on meeting the demands of others that she neglected her own well-being. Months passed, and Nobet's perfect skin began to fade. Dark circles formed under her eyes, and her once glowing complexion started to look tired and dull. She realized that in her quest to make others happy, she had neglected herself. Determined to find a balance between her business and personal life, Little Witch Nobet decided to change her approach. She hired some helpers to assist her in brewing the potions and decided to limit the number of potions she sold each day. This way, she could take care of herself while still fulfilling the demand for the magical potion. Slowly, Nobet's skin started to regain its radiance as she focused on her own well-being. She realized that true beauty came from within and couldn't be achieved solely through potions and spells. The enchanted forest continued to buzz with the stories of Little Witch Nobet's skin, but this time, people admired her not just for her flawless appearance but for her determination, resilience, and self-care. Little Witch Nobet's story teaches us that taking care of oneself is just as important as taking care of others. We should always remember to prioritize our own well-being and not get carried away by external pressures and demands. After all, true beauty lies in being kind, courageous, and caring, both towards ourselves and others..
