First Trailer for ‘The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication’ Released [Trailer]

With console owners still waiting on the release of Softstar Entertainment’s The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation, the developer/publisher has released the first trailer for the sequel, entitled The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication. The sequel is currently in development for PC via Steam, though no release date has been announced as of yet.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is described as a standalone sequel to The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation, and is a reimagined adaptation of Lester Hsi‘s The Bridge Curse 2: Ritual, which is slated for release later this year. Centering this time on the haunted campus of Wen Hua University, the story concerns a group of students trying to attract new members to the film club. To do so, they’ve decided to hold a Carnival of Horror in the campus’ Da Ren building. The building just so happens to be rife with rumors of ghost sightings. The students plan on re-enacting a bizarre case that happened on campus decades ago and turning it into a horror movie. But, as these things go, strange things start to happen.

As in the previous game, players will be expected to evade the ghosts that are pursuing them, making use of the environment to either hide or distract the ghosts, all the while trying to find a way out of the building. Players will also be solving riddles and puzzles to uncover the truth behind the strange events, as well as finding key items and information that will lead to clues scattered around the campus.

Currently, The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation is available now on Steam.

Reviews for "Unveiling the Magic: Key Plot Points in Cherry Magic Live Action Program"

1. Anna - 2 out of 5 stars - I was really looking forward to watching the live-action adaptation of "Cherry Magic," as I absolutely loved the manga. However, I was extremely disappointed with the execution of the series. The acting felt wooden and lacked the charm and chemistry that made the manga so enjoyable. The pacing was also off, with some episodes dragging on without much happening, while others rushed through important plot points. Overall, I found the live-action program to be a lackluster adaptation of a beloved story.
2. Mark - 1 out of 5 stars - I cannot express how disappointed I am with the "Cherry Magic" live-action program. The character development was completely lacking, and I couldn't connect with any of the characters. The chemistry between the main leads felt forced and unnatural. Moreover, the changes made to the storyline were unnecessary and took away from the original charm of the manga. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this adaptation, but unfortunately, it fell flat on its face.
3. Sarah - 2.5 out of 5 stars - While the "Cherry Magic" live-action program had its moments, it failed to capture the essence of the manga. The performances by the actors were average at best, and I didn't feel the same emotional connection I had with the characters in the source material. Additionally, the plot felt rushed, and many important details were left out, leaving the viewer feeling confused and unsatisfied. Overall, it was a mediocre adaptation that didn't live up to its potential.
4. Michael - 2 out of 5 stars - As a fan of the "Cherry Magic" manga, I was excited to see it come to life in a live-action format. However, the adaptation fell short in multiple ways. The casting choices didn't fit the characters' descriptions, and the performances lacked depth and nuance. The pacing was inconsistent, resulting in a disjointed viewing experience. Furthermore, the script didn't capture the humor and heart of the original story, leaving me disappointed. Overall, "Cherry Magic" as a live-action program was a missed opportunity to bring a beloved manga to life successfully.
