Exploring the Ancient Origins of Celestial Rune Sigils

By admin

Celestial rune sigils are ancient symbols used in various mystic traditions and practices. These sigils are believed to hold powerful energy and carry specific meanings associated with celestial beings and forces. Each sigil represents a particular aspect of the cosmos and can be used for different purposes, such as protection, enlightenment, and invoking higher energies. The use of celestial runes dates back to ancient civilizations, where people sought to connect with the celestial realm and harness its power. These symbols were often inscribed on talismans, amulets, and other objects to attract celestial blessings or to ward off negative energies. They were also used in rituals and ceremonies to communicate with celestial beings and seek their guidance.

The Budget option has the Celestial Rune Sigils Deck of 24 black and white cards in a plain white tuck box and standard 300 gsm card stock (preview of deck available on MPC website). It is available for US$ 16.00 with affordable shipping worldwide (it is ~ US$ 5.99 to ship a box, even to South Africa!). The guidebook I created along with the deck is too large to print and include in the deck box (the booklet 38 pages at the moment), but you can just email me ([email protected]) with your Order Number and I’ll forward a digital PDF copy to you! The guidebook contains additional information for the usage of each or their visualisation during invocation. I also give background to the deck and its creator (i.e., me LOL!).

It is appropriate for most ages, including the very young and those who are wiser, since it can be used as a personal deck and as a deck to assist clients during various healing or magick sessions. These sigils are not merely meant for use in divination, but rather they have a more active role with each sigil having a specific intention and contribution towards metaphysical, spiritual and magickal rituals.

They were also used in rituals and ceremonies to communicate with celestial beings and seek their guidance. Each celestial rune sigil has its own unique design and significance. Some common sigils include the sun, moon, stars, and various zodiac signs.

These are very popular and if you like my style on these, I’m sure that you’ll enjoy the Celestial Rune Sigils Deck too!

Summary of the Deck

My studies into the Elder Futhark, which have fascinated me since childhood, have been converted into a coherent system of bindrunes for everyday use without the requirement of expert knowledge. My bindrune project, named the Celestial Rune Sigils has transformed into a deck of 24 black and white cards, representative of their origins from the 24 Elder Futhark Runes, with details on their crafting, uses and invocation. The Old English Rune Poem is used as a descriptive guide for the Elder Futhark using 24 stanzas. Similarly, the Celestial Rune Sigils contain keywords and short verses on each card to describe the intention for each bindrune. It has taken me over a year to create this set of 24 bindrunes, as I wanted the deck to develop at its own pace, which would ensure quality and authenticity. It is not necessarily just a divinatory deck, but rather it has a more active role with each card having a specific intention and contribution towards metaphysical, spiritual and magickal rituals. Therefore, the deck is not only restricted to tarot readers or oracle enthusiasts. It has been created for the larger metaphysical community and would be of special interest to our energy workers and magick wielders. It is appropriate for most ages, including the very young and those who are wiser, since it can be used as a personal deck and as a deck to assist clients during various healing or magick sessions. This deck also makes a great travel companion.

The deck is a metaphysical, spiritual or magickal toolbox, with each card representing a different metaphysical tool. Each card can be used in this way, much as one would use a wand, crystal or other spiritual tool. There is a lot of freedom as to how precisely to apply each card and I hope that the practitioners who make use of this deck will find their own intuitive ways of applying each of the cards during their spiritual journeys and magickal rituals.

Pricing and Shipping of the Deck

Future Oracle Projects (Watch This Space!)

I am working on a few more oracle deck ideas, all of which I am going to place on MakePlayingCards! I have tried a few publishers with the Celestial Rune Sigils Deck, but I think I have the same problem here as with my some of my PhD work – I get told that because nobody else has done what I am doing and because there are no other references, it simply will not work (or sell in this case), even though there is nothing wrong with the concept, logic, analyses and the results are informative! I also believe that you cannot say something won’t work/sell if you have not tried it yet…

Anyways, I’ve gone off topic now…

I am planning on creating a comprehensive and structured divinatory system for the Elder Futhark (a proper oracle deck essentially with a little added colour too!) in the near future, which does not derive from the Norse system or clings to the Old English Rune Poem interpretations, but tries to be more inclusive of all the descendants from the Germanic tribes and the evolution of esoteric knowledge. I have a lot of its concepts sorted and organized, but I still need to bring it all together in a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing way (and writing its rather detailed guidebook!). This Elder Futhark Oracle deck will also include an easy learning system derived from the black and white Elder Futhark Travel cards that I have already created (BTW these have been redesigned into a deck as well: Elder Futhark Runes Mini Oracle and is available on MakePlayingCards too!). I am also thinking of another bindrune system, different to the Celestial Rune Sigils, but I’m still batting ideas around my head on this one…

I am also looking into making a deck of my redesigned Free Oracle Cards (obviously not free anymore when converted to deck format LOL!). This will be later in the year though, but before Christmas! By this time I should have designed at least 20 cards for the set. I am thinking of calling the deck: Spirit Guides Inspirational Oracle and it will include 18 guides (9 from each year) and two legend cards. Then I can expand it each year (or two, whichever works better) as this is a long term project of mine.

LOL! At this rate I am bringing out one/two oracle deck(s) each year!

Let me know what you think & I would love feedback on my decks!

Each of these symbols carries its own energy and can be utilized for different purposes. For example, the sun sigil represents vitality, energy, and life force, while the moon sigil is associated with intuition, emotions, and psychic abilities. To work with celestial rune sigils, practitioners often meditate on or visualize the symbol, focusing on its energy and intention. Some may also draw or paint the sigil to infuse it with their own personal energy. Others may use the sigil in spells or rituals by inscribing it on candles, writing it on paper, or incorporating it into a magical circle. It is advisable to study the specific meanings and correspondences of each sigil before working with them, as well as to practice ethical and responsible use of their power. Reviews for "Exploring the Connection Between Celestial Rune Sigils and Celestial Bodies"

1. John - 2 stars
The Celestial Rune Sigils were quite disappointing for me. The graphics and designs were lackluster, and I expected more vibrant and elaborate symbols. The selection of sigils was also limited, and I was hoping for a wider variety to choose from. Additionally, the instruction manual provided was not very informative, and I found it difficult to understand and put the sigils into practice. Overall, I was underwhelmed with this product.
2. Mary - 3 stars
I have mixed feelings about the Celestial Rune Sigils. While the concept was intriguing and I was excited to try them out, I found the execution to be lacking. The quality of the sigils themselves was subpar, with some of them already showing signs of wear and tear upon arrival. The material used was also flimsy and not very durable. On the positive side, the package did provide some interesting information about the history and meaning behind each sigil, which added a level of depth to the experience. However, I was ultimately left feeling dissatisfied with the overall product.
3. Sarah - 2 stars
I regret purchasing the Celestial Rune Sigils. The price point was way too high for what the product offered. The sigils themselves seemed cheaply made and didn't live up to the advertised quality. Moreover, the guide that came with the sigils was confusing and didn't provide clear instructions on how to properly use them. I feel like I wasted my money on this purchase and would not recommend it to others looking for a genuine and worthwhile spiritual tool.
4. Michael - 1 star
The Celestial Rune Sigils were a complete letdown. Not only were the sigils poorly designed, but they were also difficult to decipher and understand. There was no clear explanation of what each symbol represented, and I had to do extensive research on my own to fully grasp their meanings. Furthermore, the packaging arrived damaged and the sigils were crumpled and creased. It was a disappointing experience overall, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
