The Ardell Gray Magic Color Enhancer is a hair product that is designed to specifically target and enhance gray hair. This product comes in a convenient 1 oz bottle and can be used at home easily. Gray hair can often be difficult to work with and maintain, but the Gray Magic Color Enhancer helps to add color and vibrancy back to gray hair. It works by depositing a light ash tone onto the hair, which helps to neutralize any yellow or brassy undertones that may be present. This color enhancer can be used on both natural and chemically treated gray hair, making it versatile and suitable for all hair types. The Ardell Gray Magic Color Enhancer is also formulated with vitamins and proteins, which help to nourish and strengthen the hair, leaving it soft and shiny.

How to Harness Your Comfort Zone to Make Career Magic

I love to be comfortable, and I love my comfort zone. In fact, I think it’s a good practice to get nice and comfy in our comfort zones and learn to embrace them. Yet, I've not heard from anyone else that they share similar thoughts.

Are you just about to mutter, “but magic happens outside of your comfort zone”, or something very similar? If you’re like me, then you’ve seen countless posts sharing one opinion, that Venn-like diagram, persuading us to live outside of our comfort zone. I do not disagree. Magic does happen when we learn and challenge ourselves with things we’re not comfortable doing - and this helps excel our career, and life. But that simple diagram and message is missing something big - context.

Don’t step out of your comfort zone completely.

Getting out of one’s comfort zone is just part of the story. Are we suppose to live regularly outside of these self-created zones? Is there a time we shouldn’t be pushing ourselves? And does this translate to all parts of our lives equally, at the same time?

I believe magic happens, not when you’re just outside of your comfort zone, but when the two zones overlap. They do not, or should not regularly live independently.

My version of where the magic happens.

When we put too many things in the uncomfortable zone, we can experience large amounts of stress and jeopardize our success. You see, our comfort zones can help balance our push into new opportunities. If used correctly, these comfort, AKA safe zones are the foundation we build upon.

I’ve either made you roll your eyes at this point, or just maybe, you might think I’m on to something. Let me explain.

Find the power of your comfort zone.

In my most recent job change in moving to Melcrum, I shifted my career focus, and started working remotely full time. This was a big shift from what I had been doing at LinkedIn.

I was now in a world where I needed to reinvent some of the most basic things I knew - like changing the way I worked day-to-day. I needed to adapt to not having office mates present, being the remote guy in a time zone different than the rest of the company, and of course, learn and reinvent my role. Imagine having to consciously think about when to leave the house to see people to eliminate cabin fever. Most people just leave to go to work and never think about it. Changing long-term rituals and habits are tough.

At the same time, I pushed to take Melcrum to new communication and marketing spaces, and invest their efforts differently. This was also reshaping how I would spend my time and tackle new objectives. It was all exciting and was starting to become rewarding - making that magic people talk about. I was clearly living outside of my comfort zone.

I was also eager to relocate further north to be closer to family. The distance had made it difficult to connect regularly. With only a small network of friends in my current area, nothing was really holding me back. And working remotely allows me to live wherever I want. So why not just do it?

But my home, familiarity of the area, and my easy-to-follow routines were all part of a comfort zone. These simple things provided a space to retreat to clear my head, to form new perspectives in my role, and really focus in the magic moments I was trying to create. If I made this move to a new town, I’d be very close to living 100% in the uncomfortable zone. Could I of done it? Of course. But would my other priorities been impacted? Would I have been as successful in re-shaping my career focus, and possibly my overall health? Yes, I think so.

Also, this time allowance I created provided an opportunity to better reflect on my life goals. I now specifically understand all of my motivators for my desired move. It is still to be closer to family. But it's also a shift in lifestyle. That’s big. I realize I want to pursue small town living (SF Bay Area style), and start the physical beginnings of a new phase of my life.

This changes my targeted city to relocate. If I had made the move earlier, I would of made a mistake, costing me financially, but more importantly, costing me time and creating a new block to my goal.

Use your tools wisely.

As you’re looking to make magic in your life (and career), don’t forget about the tools you already have, that will help you succeed.

  • Your comfort zone should be a resource, not an unhealthy burden. If it's holding you back, then determine the blocks and focus on them in your uncomfortable zone.
  • Be calculated in your growth plan. Yes, you can be all in. But have a foundation - a comfort zone in your life that provides balance to the changes.
  • Provide yourself time to think, reflect and discover the big picture. It’s great to experiment and learn. But make sure you include time to discover the root cause for your desired change.

Or, look at it this way:

Kristen Wiig says it well when it comes to the unhealthy comfort zone, and the truth of your (scary) uncomfortable zone. Go after what you really want.

Reviews for "Discover the Versatility of Ardell Gray Magic Color Enhancer 1 oz"

1. Samantha - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed with the Ardell Gray Magic Color Enhancer. I have a few gray hairs and was hoping this product would help blend them in with my natural hair color, but it just didn't work for me. The color enhancer ended up giving my hair a weird purple tint, which was not what I was going for at all. I followed the instructions carefully and even tried adjusting the amount I applied, but it just didn't do anything to improve the appearance of my gray hairs. I would not recommend this product.
2. John - 1/5 stars - The Ardell Gray Magic Color Enhancer was a complete waste of money for me. I have medium brown hair with some scattered gray hairs, and I thought this product would help cover them up. However, it didn't do anything at all. It was like applying water to my hair - absolutely no color enhancement or coverage. I'm extremely disappointed and feel like I wasted my hard-earned money on a product that doesn't work as advertised.
3. Michelle - 3/5 stars - I purchased the Ardell Gray Magic Color Enhancer with high hopes, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. I have dark brown hair with a few grays, and I was looking for something to help blend them in. While the product did add a subtle tint, it wasn't enough to fully cover the gray hairs. Additionally, the application process was messy and time-consuming. It's not the worst product out there, but there are definitely better options available for covering gray hairs.
