It is guarded by an arcane golem [1] [2] named Ar'kelos and is also the spot where two friendly ghosts (Custodian Dieworth and Lieutenant-Sorcerer Morran) give out a series of quests.

A curse exists around the mage tower, "Curse of the Violet Tower", which reduces damage done by 50%.

When their mother is kidnapped by a powerful enemy, the siblings embark on a quest to save her and uncover the secrets of the amulet. Throughout the series, Emily and Navin encounter various allies and enemies, including a talking robot, a giant bunny, and a shadowy creature known as the Elf King.
