Transform your Magic Tilt trailer into a streamlined hauling machine with these accessories

By admin

Magic Tilt trailers are popular for their durability and reliability in safely transporting boats and watercrafts. To enhance the functionality and convenience of these trailers, there are several trailer accessories available. These accessories are designed to make loading, unloading, and towing boats easier and more secure. One of the essential accessories for Magic Tilt trailers is the trailer winch. A trailer winch allows for easy loading and unloading of boats onto the trailer. It usually consists of a strap or cable that is attached to the bow or stern of the boat and a hand crank that is used to wind in the strap or cable.

In testing we found that this magnetic screen door performs as described. The construction quality felt just as sturdy as the top pick and runner-up screens. It was a cinch to install, and the durable fiberglass mesh held up to some light stretching and traffic. The included installation instructions were minimal, but there is an installation video on the seller’s site. However, it did not come with optional thumbtacks to help keep it in place on uneven surfaces.

The tightly woven, upgraded polyester mesh of the Flux Phenom magnetic screen door offers the durability of fiberglass with the visibility and airflow of polyester. The entire closing strip of the magnetic screen door is filled with thin, rectangular magnets to help keep the door closed even in strong wind gusts.

If you havent made your screen door yet, there is still time! LOL

This is a picture that shows how the Magic Mesh screen door can stay in place when the exterior door is closed. I'm not handy with power tools (that includes sewing machines) so for project simplicity, the two panels were each folded and sewn on themselves to fit the correct width of the door opening.

They are attached to the door frame with velcro, so extremely easy to remove or put up. Last summer,at the dog shows, we were frequently and hurridly in and out of the trailer & surprisingly in our frantic haste to race for ring time, never once pulled it off.

It is velcro'd above the padded door arch and hemmed to the door height. Down the length, each panel's mutiple magnets meet and sofly catch to close. It really does have a nice look from inside and out.

Do you have to stow it some way when you fold down the camper? Doesn't look like you'd need to, but maybe?

Glad you posted this, handbuilder! It reminded me about this mod I've been wanting to try on our Aframe for some time.

I just ordered one from Walmart.com (under $15 "site to store"). We'll will pick it up Saturday afternoon. Now there are no excuses.

Woot, I'm psyched!

My wife & I have been tossing around ideas on how to make this work. Thus now we have the answer. A step by step would be helpful even if the project seems as simple as you state. Our first trip is April 18th. Gotta work on a check list but, I'm sure between us, as soon as we pull the camper out of the garage, all the "Wonderfulness" of it will come flowing out. Woooohoooo. we are soo pumped up!!

Lee, I just remove it and fold or roll it up and store under dining table bench seat. There are 3 or 4 velcro strips on both sides of door frame, and a couple velcro strips above the door. Once the trailer is set up, I simply hang up the screen door.

Jon & Lynn, It really was an easy uncomplicated project. I folded the panel on itself, pinned it to hold while the folds were sewn together (lengthwise) & the bottom hemmed up. No cutting of the panel material was done. If you look at the photo, you will notice a darker band of black in the middle of each panel, that where I folded the panel over onto itself and sewed in place. Hope that makes sense?

Debbie (farfromstock) made something similar last year. not sure if its posted in her album, maybe she could repost here?

Deb, look forward to seeing what you do with it! I am a sewing challenged person. I use cheater fuse tape whenever I can. me and sharp objects such as sewing needles, are a dangerous mix. haha

Trailer accessories for magic tilt trailers

A trailer jack is used to lift the tongue of the trailer, making it easier to attach and detach the trailer from the towing vehicle. It also provides stability to the trailer when it is not attached to the vehicle. The trailer jack usually has a crank handle or a motorized mechanism for raising and lowering the tongue of the trailer. Boat trailer guide-ons are also popular accessories for Magic Tilt trailers. These guide-ons are installed on the sides of the trailer and help to align the boat during loading and unloading. They prevent the boat from veering off course and hitting the sides of the trailer. The guide-ons are usually adjustable, allowing them to accommodate different sizes and types of boats. To secure the boat onto the trailer during transportation, trailer tie-downs are necessary. These tie-downs are straps or cables that are used to secure the boat to the trailer. They prevent the boat from shifting or moving during transit, ensuring that it remains safe and stable on the trailer. A variety of tie-down options are available, including ratchet straps and cam buckle straps. Other accessories for Magic Tilt trailers include trailer lights, spare tire carriers, and trailer locks. Trailer lights are essential for ensuring visibility and safety on the road. Spare tire carriers provide a convenient way to carry a spare tire for emergencies. Trailer locks help to prevent theft by securing the trailer coupler or hitch. In conclusion, trailer accessories for Magic Tilt trailers enhance the functionality and convenience of these trailers. From trailer winches and jacks to guide-ons and tie-downs, these accessories make loading, unloading, and towing boats easier and more secure. These accessories are essential for ensuring the safe transportation of boats and watercrafts..

Reviews for "Transform your Magic Tilt trailer into a mobile workshop with these accessories"

1. John - 2 stars - I am extremely disappointed with the trailer accessories for magic tilt trailers. The quality of the products is subpar and does not match the price they charge. The straps broke after just a few uses and the hitch didn't fit properly on my trailer. I had to go through the hassle of returning them and finding alternative accessories from a different brand. Overall, not worth the money or the trouble.
2. Sarah - 1 star - I would not recommend the trailer accessories for magic tilt trailers to anyone. The parts I received were missing pieces, and when I reached out to customer service, they were unhelpful and unresponsive. It's frustrating to spend money on something that turns out to be defective and then not get any assistance or resolution from the company. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your trailer accessory needs.
3. Mike - 2 stars - The trailer accessories for magic tilt trailers did not live up to my expectations. The strap tensioner was flimsy and didn't hold the straps securely in place. I constantly had to readjust them during transportation, which was a major inconvenience. Additionally, the locking pin for the hitch was difficult to use and often got stuck. Overall, I was not satisfied with the functionality or durability of these accessories. There are definitely better options available on the market.
