They are believed to have the ability to tap into supernatural powers and communicate with spirits to provide healing and guidance to their community. The term "witch doctor" is often used to refer to any traditional healer in Africa, although it can be seen as derogatory and disrespectful. Many prefer to be called traditional healers or spiritual leaders instead. These healers play a crucial role in African societies, as they are responsible for treating various illnesses and providing spiritual guidance.

The magic conch is missing

These healers play a crucial role in African societies, as they are responsible for treating various illnesses and providing spiritual guidance. The youtuye, specifically, is a witch doctor from the Dagara tribe in Burkina Faso. They are highly respected and sought after for their healing abilities.

**REPORTED** shellphone/magic conch only teleports to one ocean

To double check, is the ocean you spawn on always on the opposite side relative to your world's spawnpoint?

If you are to the right of the spawn point, it teleports you to the left side ocean and if you are to the left, it teleports you to the right side ocean. That's how it's supposed to work. So if it is teleporting you to the right of you are right to the spawn point or vice versa, then it isn't working properly.

To update here, the bug is still present. Though it seems I miss attributed it. The conch seems to teleport you to the closest ocean rather than the furthest.

this has been an ongoing bug for me in multiplayer, the magic conch teleports to the closest ocean rather than the furthest.

I thought it just teleports to an ocean at a random side. I've not noticed a pattern, if there is one.

nope, it's supposed to teleport you to the farthest ocean. so if you're on the right side of the world, you'll go to the ocean on the left. if you're on the left side, you go to the right. it's like that so you can traverse to both oceans with the magic conch

In some multiplayer worlds the shellphone and the magic conch will only teleport you to one of the oceans but not the other

Hi @Nox_porphyrogene I merged your two threads into one since they are for the same topic.

I'm not able to reproduce this in Mobile (which has a very similar codebase to console, but there are some things that may be different). Can you give more info. You mentioned the issue is in multiplayer. Are you the host, is it local or online, are you on classic or journey worlds, does it happen in every world with every character, can you try using other characters and worlds and see what happens, are you on a special seed, etc etc.

The bug typically occurs when you are playing a session with someone else as the host, it's happened consistently regardless of character or world. I have only played classic when it comes to multiplayer and normal seeds

The witch doctor youtuye

They are known to possess deep knowledge of traditional medicinal plants and their uses. The youtuye's healing practices often involve the use of herbal remedies, divination, and spiritual rituals. In order to become a witch doctor youtuye, one must undergo an extensive training and initiation process. This typically involves years of apprenticeship under an experienced healer, during which the apprentice learns about the different plants, rituals, and spiritual practices. They are also taught how to communicate with spirits and interpret their messages. Once the training is complete, the youtuye is considered a fully initiated healer and is allowed to practice independently. People who seek the services of a youtuye often have a variety of ailments, both physical and spiritual. The healer will assess the situation and perform the necessary rituals or administer herbal remedies to address the problem. The witch doctor youtuye holds a special place in African society. They are seen as guardians of ancient wisdom and traditions, preserving the knowledge passed down through generations. Their role goes beyond mere healing, as they also provide spiritual guidance to individuals and the community as a whole. Despite the skepticism and criticism from some Western cultures, the witch doctor youtuye continues to be an integral part of African society. Their healing practices and spiritual beliefs are deeply rooted in the culture and traditions of their people. They serve as a reminder of the rich and diverse heritage of the African continent..

I found "The Witch Doctor Youtuye" to be quite disappointing. The plot was disjointed and lacked coherence, making it difficult to follow along. The characters were poorly developed, and I found it hard to connect with any of them. Additionally, the writing style was choppy and filled with grammatical errors, which further detracted from my reading experience. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book as it failed to live up to my expectations.

"The Witch Doctor Youtuye" was an absolute letdown. The storyline was confusing and lacked depth, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and disconnected from the plot. Furthermore, the dialogue seemed forced and unnatural, making it difficult to believe in the interactions between the characters. There were also several inconsistencies throughout the book, which only added to the confusion. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with this novel and would not recommend it to others.
3. David - 2 stars
I had high hopes for "The Witch Doctor Youtuye" based on the intriguing premise, but unfortunately, it fell flat. The pacing of the story was uneven, with slow and meandering sections that made it difficult to stay engaged. The lack of character development also made it challenging to connect with the protagonists. Additionally, I found the author's writing style to be bland and uninspiring. Overall, while the concept had potential, the execution left much to be desired.
