The magic portal is an enchanting gateway that transports individuals to various realms and dimensions. It is believed to possess supernatural powers and can bring forth extraordinary experiences. The concept of a magic portal has been popularized in stories, myths, and folklore, where it often serves as a mystical passage to another world. People are intrigued by the idea of stepping through a magical doorway and entering a realm filled with wonder and adventure. The magic portal is often depicted as an ethereal passageway or a shimmering doorway that leads to places beyond imagination. It is said to have the ability to bridge the gap between reality and fantasy, enabling individuals to travel to other dimensions, time periods, or even parallel universes.
For my bachelor thesis titled Character Animation with the Limitations of Analogue Animation of LEGO Characters, I analyzed this stop motion movie. Here is a slightly modified version of this movie analysis.
Through the joints on the arms and legs, the pose of the figure can be adjusted relatively easily, and the knobs of LEGO bottom plate give the figure the necessary support and ensure a uniform stride length. In the further course, the portal not only connects these two worlds, it also breaks through the fourth wall as a monster escapes into the real world and attacks the animator.
It is said to have the ability to bridge the gap between reality and fantasy, enabling individuals to travel to other dimensions, time periods, or even parallel universes. Often, these portals are hidden or guarded, requiring a specific key, spell, or action to unlock them. Legends and tales mention various forms of magic portals, such as enchanted mirrors, ancient gateways, mystical caves, or even whimsical objects like wardrobes or rabbit holes.
