Underrated series that I think deserve to be discussed here. Holy shit I finished the newest chapter and what a roller coaster it is.
I want to know what you guys thinking about this manhwa. The premise is interesting, a woman loved by a dragon to the point that the dragon decided to tricked her into a vow where it makes her practically not human anymore. I have a mixed feeling about their relationship at first and I personally can tolerate noncon to some extend but this one irks me. Maybe because Aiden the ML can be such a manipulative being to the point FL needs a vow of no lying no hiding bs to convince him? Also the realization on chapter 37 when she said that she is turning into a doormat is very interesting, rare that I see FL realizing it herself.
I want to note that some people on webtoon agrees that their relationship is toxic, how true this statement really is? For some time, I have seen both of them trying to built their relationship. They also try to communicate more clearly. Dont forget that eventhought our Wendy is 28, our little dragon Aiden, doesnt even reach 20 in the eyes of the dragon so yeah. Add it up to his character being so full of himself, he still have a lot to learn.
Also bruh, 2nd prince is so creepy wtf. You choose to forsaken her and married another woman for power yet YOU CANT MOVE ON. Like damn dude why, he giving me Hyacinth vibe fr.
Aside from all of the flaws, Im still enjoying reading this somehow. The world building its pretty neat tbh. The topic when they talk about relationship with others are usually interesting like I learn something new each time I encounter them, it is surprisingly realistic and can be applied in real life. For example, when one of her subordinate talk about how unfair Cain treat Wendy by saying something like Cain didnt tried to put Wendy first while he doesnt want her to let him go and whenever her love would die, he gives live to it again preventing it to die but not to grow with the picture of rose being given water, its just perfect and I love it. Your usual trope of FL falling for ML fully just because ML force himself into FL's life doesnt fully worked in this series. I too want to see how far Aiden and Wendy the FL will advanced to since both of them are not normal now. I hope for the best for the both of them. Despite whatever happens, they both deserve it.
