Wildebeest Water Coaster

Can you tame the Wildebeest? He’s a fast-moving rascal! Wildebeest is the World’s #1 Water Park Ride!

When we say Wildebeest is long, we really mean it. Wildebeest is one-third of a mile long! It thrills riders for two-and-a-half soaking minutes of hills, drops, twists and turns. And for the past 10 years, the readers of Amusement Today magazine voted it the #1 Water Park Ride on the Planet!

Wildebeest begins with a conveyor ride up the water coaster’s lift hill. Following the four-story drop at a 45-degree angle, linear induction motors (LIMs) propel the four-person boats up seven additional hills, through two underground tunnels, and around a helix. Wildebeest covers more than two acres; its top speed is 36 feet per second. Wildebeest’s tallest elevation is 64 feet higher than its lowest drop. The conveyor-style lift hill replaces any slide-tower stairs, making the water coaster accessible to riders who might have difficulty walking up stairs.

How do the LIMs work?

The linear induction motor (LIM) technology for shooting the boats up the hills involves an alternating magnetic field beneath the slide surface. The LIMS propel the boats, pushing them rapidly and smoothly uphill. Beat the stampede over here to our Holiblog for more stories and videos.

Reviews for "Scream if You Can: Riding the Tallest Roller Coaster Magic Water Slides"

1. Sarah - 2/5 - The roller coaster magic water slides were a complete disappointment. The slides were poorly constructed and lacked any excitement. The loops were so slow that it felt like we were just floating down a lazy river. The water pressure was also extremely low, which made the slides even more lackluster. Overall, I would not recommend wasting your time and money on these water slides.
2. David - 1/5 - I was really looking forward to trying out the roller coaster magic water slides, but it turned out to be a huge letdown. The slides were extremely short and unimpressive. The lack of twists and turns made the ride feel boring and uninspiring. Additionally, many of the slides were not properly maintained, with broken parts and slippery surfaces. It's safe to say that I won't be returning to these water slides anytime soon.
3. Emily - 2/5 - I expected the roller coaster magic water slides to be a thrilling experience, but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations. The slides lacked any kind of speed or adrenaline rush. It felt like taking a slow, leisurely ride instead of an exciting roller coaster. Furthermore, the water park was overcrowded, which made waiting in line for the slides a tedious and frustrating experience. I would advise looking for other water parks with better thrill rides.
