Magic White Ice is a fascinating natural phenomenon that occurs in freezing temperatures, resulting in the formation of a mesmerizing ice formation that looks like delicate white feathers or filaments. This surreal spectacle is often seen in regions of extreme cold, such as the Arctic or Antarctica, where temperatures can plummet to well below freezing. The process of the formation of Magic White Ice begins when supercooled water droplets in the air freeze upon coming into contact with an object or surface. This can be anything from a tree branch or a blade of grass to a fence or even buildings. Their sound effects collection consisted of dozens of cardboard boxes filled with small rolls of 35mm magnetic film. Each had a slip of paper around it describing the sound. The rolls were clear 35mm acetate film with two magnetic stripes. One stripe contained the sound, and the other was just to keep the film’s thickness even from edge to edge. Otherwise it would wind unevenly onto a reel.
