The Role of Turmeric Tea in Ayurvedic Medicine

By admin

Magical Turmeric Tea Turmeric, known as "the golden spice of life," has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. This vibrant yellow spice, scientifically known as Curcuma longa, is not only popular in culinary dishes but is also consumed as a medicinal beverage called turmeric tea. Magical turmeric tea is made by boiling water and adding turmeric powder or freshly grated turmeric root. Traditionally, other ingredients like black pepper, ginger, cinnamon, and honey are added to enhance the flavor and potential health benefits. The key active compound in turmeric is called curcumin. Curcumin has been widely studied for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

DoubleWideProfession

I had a guildie tell me to update this addon right when 4.0.1 came out. I said ok and gave it to her. I thought this was the same as DoubleWideTradeSkills on curse so I asked the author (that has since quit wow) to let me update it with a fix.

Hope that's ok with you slakah.

Aye, moving is indeed a major pain even if everything goes smoothly as it takes ages to sort everything out. So take your time to get sorted as RL comes first.

As for the error(s), here is what I've found (N.B, I've shortened the messages to avoid a massive wall of text).

The first error is this:

Code:
Message: . AddOns\DoubleWideProfession\DoubleWideProfession.lua:21: attempt to index global 'TradeSkillFrameAvailableFilterCheckButton' (a nil value)

Which can be resolved by replacing "TradeSkillFrameAvailableFilterCheckButton" with "TradeSkillFilterDropDown" on lines 21 & 22.

Code:
Message: . AddOns\DoubleWideProfession\DoubleWideProfession.lua:26: attempt to index global 'TradeSkillFrameEditBox' (a nil value)

Commenting out lines 26-28 clears this error too. Not worked out what the replacement is (yet) so just commented it out.

This then leads to the final error which is:

Code:
Message: . AddOns\DoubleWideProfession\DoubleWideProfession.lua:112: attempt to index global 'TradeSkillFrameBottomRightTexture' (a nil value)

Again commenting out line 112 clears the problem.

The end result of this is a functioning tradeskill frame that looks very ugly, but does work. Hope this information helps.

Slakah, man, don't worry about it. Take your time, moving sucks big time (I know, we're still not settled in )

I generally get the error, I'll see if I can't track it. (If I can't, I could code - test it for ya.)

If you demand it like that, I certainly hope Slakah does *not* update the addon. Also, when posting about an issue, explain the issue and post the error itself.

I'm not sure if you are still tracking this and doing maintenance, but if so.

Since the last patch there has been some odd behavior. The first time you open the professions window it doesn't show all your available recipe categories. After you select category from the drop down list it will suddenly display them, otherwise, they will show up if you wait a while.

don't really play any more so it's pretty unlikely I'll be adding any more stuff, I'm only playing a maintenance role now.

This addon is fantastic. Any chance of adding a 'hide trivial' checkbox, hiding all gray level craftables? That would make a marvelous addon perfect.

Sure, how you do it is upto you, it would be 6 images for the full panel.

top-left top top-right
bottom-left bottom bottom-right

blizz only uses 4 for the normal panel.
they use the 4 listed images by default.

Code:
Interface\ClassTrainerFrame\UI-ClassTrainer-TopLeft Interface\ClassTrainerFrame\UI-ClassTrainer-TopRight Interface\TradeSkillFrame\UI-TradeSkill-BotLeft Interface\ClassTrainerFrame\UI-ClassTrainer-BotRight

I know it looks dumb, since the do habe all 4 UI-TradeSkill-* texture but they only use one. If included into you addon. It would make it very easy for me to swap them. the file sort blp is fine for me, so no need to change them just inclued the in you path. Or if you prefer you can change them in tga. but that does'nt matter to me

the location of your textures

Code:
Interface\Addons\DoubleWideProfession\Textures

Is fine since they are easy to replace.

Thanks, for helping me out here!

Magical turmiric tea

It may help reduce inflammation in the body, potentially providing relief for conditions like arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and chronic pain. Drinking turmeric tea is also believed to support liver health by assisting in the detoxification process. Moreover, turmeric tea is often used as a natural remedy for common ailments like colds, coughs, and sore throats. The warmth of the tea, combined with its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, may help soothe a sore throat and alleviate congestion. Additionally, you can add a pinch of black pepper for better absorption of curcumin and other ingredients like ginger or cinnamon for added flavor. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes, then strain and serve with a touch of honey if desired. Remember, while turmeric tea has numerous potential health benefits, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before using it as a remedy or supplement, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking medications. Reviews for "Magical Turmeric Tea: The Secret to Healthy Skin"

1. Jane - 2 stars
I was really disappointed with the Magical Turmeric tea. Firstly, the taste was incredibly strong and overpowering. It was difficult to enjoy and I found myself having to force myself to drink it. Secondly, I didn't notice any of the supposed health benefits that are associated with turmeric. I was hoping for reduced inflammation and improved digestion, but I didn't find any difference in how I felt. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this tea if you are looking for a pleasant taste or health benefits.
2. Mark - 1 star
I have tried numerous turmeric teas in the past, and I must say that the Magical Turmeric tea is the worst one I've ever tasted. The flavor was incredibly bitter and unpleasant. I couldn't even finish a full cup. I also didn't notice any positive effects on my health. I understand that turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, but this tea did absolutely nothing for me. I would suggest trying a different brand if you are looking for a turmeric tea that actually tastes good and provides health benefits.
3. Sarah - 2 stars
I was really excited to try the Magical Turmeric tea after hearing all the hype about turmeric's health benefits. However, I found the taste to be extremely overpowering. It tasted like I was drinking a cup of pure spices with no balance. The tea also didn't mix well, leaving me with a gritty texture. Additionally, I didn't experience any of the promised health benefits. I was hoping for improved energy and reduced inflammation, but I didn't notice any difference. Overall, I was really disappointed with this tea and wouldn't recommend it to others.
4. John - 1 star
The Magical Turmeric tea was a huge letdown for me. Not only did it taste terrible, but it also had no positive effects on my health. The flavor was incredibly bitter, and I found it difficult to drink the whole cup. I was hoping for improved digestion and reduced joint pain, but I didn't experience any of these benefits. I would suggest looking for a different brand of turmeric tea if you are looking for something that actually tastes good and provides health benefits.
