The feeling is mutual. Van der put appeared on the first season of “Penn and Teller: Fool Us” and he did exactly that when he fooled Teller with some sleight of hand. “Penn took a wild guess and figured out the card trick,” Van der put said. “However, when I tricked Teller, that was just amazing. He’s so hard to trick.”

1. Sarah - 2/5 stars - I was really excited about the Magic Secret Lair Transformers collaboration, but I was left disappointed. The cards didn't live up to the hype. The artwork was good, but the gameplay didn't feel balanced. The Transformers cards seemed overpowered compared to the rest of the game, making it unfair for those without the Secret Lair set. Additionally, the quality of the cards themselves felt subpar. They were flimsy and easily damaged. Overall, I expected more from this collaboration and it fell short of my expectations.
2. Mark - 1/5 stars - I can't say I enjoyed the Magic Secret Lair Transformers set. The concept seemed interesting, but the execution was lacking. The cards were difficult to integrate into my existing deck, and they disrupted the overall gameplay experience. The Transformers cards felt like a separate game within Magic, which diminished the balance and enjoyment. The high price point for this set was not justified based on the content and overall experience it provided. I wouldn't recommend investing in this collaboration if you're a serious Magic player.
3. Jessica - 2/5 stars - As a fan of both Magic and Transformers, I was excited about the Secret Lair collaboration. However, I was left underwhelmed by the actual product. The cards themselves were visually appealing, with great artwork, but the power level of the Transformers cards was unbalanced. It felt like the set was trying to capitalize on the nostalgia factor rather than providing a cohesive and enjoyable gameplay experience. Additionally, the limited availability and high price made it difficult for many fans to obtain the set, which added to the disappointment. I hope future collaborations in the Magic community will learn from the shortcomings of this one.
