[3.6] Witch Builds List

Hi Exile, my name is haamoo, if you have any suggestions for our list, let me know! All feedback is very welcome.
Lastly I just want to thank Kwitch for the amazing job he has done with the Templar & Witch build lists. Special thanks to StormHavoc for creating the new artwork for the list!

Submit Your Build

NOTICE: If you wish to have your build guide represented here, post the link and a short description as a reply. It must be updated to the current major version, and be an actual build guide. Links to your skill tree and gear is not a build guide. Where possible, I will be filtering submissions very moderately to only keep actual builds listed. Obvious troll builds that would have difficulty clearing mud flats likely won't appear here.

In addition, naming of builds submitted is up to the creator's discretion. I will however modify and prune elements of naming as I see fit to keep the listing legible, free of subjective opinion, or numerical values that are subject to change. These include but are not limited to:
• Path of Building DPS
• Estimated HitPoints
• Cost per league to construct
• 'Best', 'Only', '#1' subjective naming.

Concrete numbers that pertain to the build are permitted, such as 'three-curses' etc.

Best Witch Builds for Affliction League (Path of Exile 3.23)

Welcome to our list of Witch builds for the Affliction league of Path of Exile (3.23). The Witch is the mage archetype in Path of Exile; she mainly specializes in killing foes with magic, summoning an army of minions, or applying strong curses. The Witch can ascend and choose one of three paths.

The Necromancer raises the dead — this is more of a summoner archetype.

The Occultist is all about using Energy Shield as its main defensive resource instead of life.

The Elementalist is a sorceress that excels at casting strong offensive spells.

She also specializes in Cold and Chaos magic, along with having very nice buffs to Curses.

Trading post

A trading post is an island attraction building placed on a medium or large island. Players can come here to trade trinkets and pieces of eight for special items.

Attraction buildings are nearly identical to regular infrastructure buildings: they change ownership along with an island's governance and they do not count against an island's building limit on medium islands. There are however a few differences:

  • Attraction buildings typically have a higher tax rate than standard buildings, and decay a week after failing to have their taxes paid. A trading post has a base tax of 3,000 PoE.
  • A limited number of attractions can be built on a given island: 1 on medium islands and 2 on large islands. Outpost islands cannot build attractions.
  • Only one of each type of attraction can be built on an island at a time.
  • Each attraction building has a different effect when it is built. A trading post will make the island more attractive to merchant brigands.
