Okay, the amulet is. cheap looking. It comes apart easily - most likely to prevent choking - but also seems very easy to break. The resident five year old couldn't wear it for more than two minutes without my having to redo the clasp. It kept coming off. The ribbon looks like it could tear off any minute. The plastic looks. like cheap plastic.
The fact is that my daughter is happy with this and I don t really regret the purchase, although I don t believe the amulet will last long and I wish the book had a little more substance to it.
