Magic Touch on Lancaster does a great job. They offer many levels of cleaning. J. M. Salem, OR • 1 Feb 22

I went to Magic Touch car wash on Lancaster. I asked for and paid them to clean my floor mats. My car came out without my mats and they refused to replace them for me. They implied that I was scamming them. The truth is that they gave my mats to someone else and refused to replace them for me. BEWARE of this place. They have no integrity. See more …

Could really use help regarding my car. In the past few years I have lost my mechanic and my favorite car wash--Kar'l Be Klean. I am semi-disabled and am looking for a good car wash that will do all the work for me. My car hasn't been cleaned in a good 3 years and has several greenish blobs on it. My car is a 2008 Honda Fit and I have been having trouble finding a reliable mechanic to work on it--the last one I had moved 5 years ago and this car is past due for upkeep. Because of my physical limitations, I need solutions in Salem and even better, south Salem. So, if you know of a car wash or mechanic that would work, please let me know. See more …

Worst service ever. They scratched our brand new truck in the car wash. When we went back to try and get it repaired, they refused to allow me to speak to the owner. First they said he would be in later, then they claimed he was out until the following Monday. They denied all liability, rude and nasty to my husband in person, and even worse to me in the 2 phone calls I made to them on the phone. Our truck is damaged, no recourse, and we will not be back to this shoddy company who treats people like crap.

Overall Facility Promptness Service

I have been to this car wash hundreds of times and they have kept several new cars looking new. Trouble is, there is no training of the employees and management. They left my car wet from the wash so long that the wax gelled into a hard very dull finish. When I showed the manager what had happened, he said I could pay for a hand wax job, which is quite expensive.

I had to have the car "clayed", a very expensive process, as the wax job had no effect. The clay process left the car looking great. Now I am over a hundred dollars into a car wash. Not happy with them. This was brought on by their inexperience and laziness. If I go back, I will have to be sure they wipe down the wet car, not necessarily dry it. There are other nice car washes in town that don't hire clowns.

Very entertaining how they wave the rags around at the doors and thresholds. I often clean up after getting home with a real cleaner, rather than the colored water they use on their rag "wands".

Had my car washed and detailed, only to find that over $600 in personal property was stolen from my car. The manager added to the situation by mocking me as a forgetful senior, even laughing at me. Beware lock your inside compartments when having detailed, or washed, or just don't even go there. BEWARE!

More info The business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer either a) did not accept the response, OR b) did not notify BBB as to their satisfaction.

The morning of 7/29/2023, I took my vehicle to Magic Touch Car Wash located at *****************************************************************. My vehicle was fully serviced. The actual car wash is visible from inside of the building. I remember looking out as I walked through their hallway to notice cups and containers inside of the car wash itself. I waited for my vehicle to be serviced, and then I got in my vehicle to leave. I made a right hand turn onto Lancaster and as I was driving to Sunnyview, I noticed my vehicle making a funny repeating sound. I parked my car and walked around my vehicle. As I approached the driver's side tire, I saw a green plastic piece embedded in my tire. The middle nail on the piece was embedded in my tire. I immediately returned to the car wash and asked to speak to the manager. The manager told me he would do nothing for my vehicle and it could have happened before I even came to the car wash. My tire was in perfect condition before I came to their car wash. I immediately took my vehicle over to discount tires to get the nail out which is located next door. Discount tires said that the nail was embedded into two walls of my tire so it was not fixable. Because my vehicle is an all wheel drive, all four of the tires had to be replaced. The two receipts from Discount tires show, "All four tires were replaced due to AWD system- customer is aware of possible drivetrain wear or failure when replacing less that 4 matched tires" as well as "tire is not repairable due to a nail in the shoulder". Because of Magic Touch Car Wash's negligence on maintaining their car wash, I had to put four new tires on my vehicle to the price of $940. The car wash itself cost $65.00. I want them to pay for the cost of the new tires. The top of the receipt for the Magic Touch Car Wash states, "Magic Touch Car Wash will not be responsible for lost personal belongings, antennas, bug *******, prior loose/defective trims." Tires are not listed on their receipt. They need to be responsible.

- John - 1/5 stars - I was really disappointed with Nora Roberts' witch themed novels. I found the plots to be predictable and the characters to be one-dimensional. The magic aspect felt forced and not well-developed. Overall, I didn't find them engaging or enjoyable to read.
- Sarah - 2/5 stars - I'm a big fan of Nora Roberts' other works, but I just couldn't get into her witch themed novels. The storylines felt repetitive and the romance elements felt forced.
