The Enigma of a Witch's Ability to Fly into Trees

By admin

Once upon a time, in a mystical forest, there lived an extraordinary witch named Inkp. Unlike other witches, Inkp had the extraordinary ability to fly. This unique trait allowed her to soar above the treetops, gliding effortlessly through the air. Inkp's favorite spot to fly was a massive, ancient tree that stood tall in the heart of the forest. The tree's branches reached out like welcoming arms, providing a perfect perch for Inkp to land and observe the enchanting surroundings. Every day, Inkp would take flight, soaring through the sky with grace and elegance.

Today I’m sharing part 4 of the witches potting shed made for the LIVE launch. You can see the introduction and close ups in my first post. Let’s get into the details…

BACK GARDEN, BAT TREE, TOMBSTONE + BROOM

The idea-ology woodland trees are good for all seasons so I make sure to stock up on these each year. They take distress ink like a dream, I added iced spruce and rustic wilderness distress ink sprays and allowed to air dry. There are so many of the cool bats in the halloween ephemera pack, so perfect to add lots to the tree. I replaced the tree’s wood base with a wood slice.

I added distress crypt-paste to an idea-ology tombstone and once dry, added distress crayon and paint. I love the fun “tombstone toppers” from the halloween remnant rubs and used “Nora Gretz” on the front. I removed the crossbones from the skulls and spiders adornment set, covered the skull head with distress crypt paste, dry brushed with black soot distress paint and glued to the tombstone above the remnant rubs.

I love the new idea-ology broomsticks, the handles are so gnarly and needed no additional grunge and a little distress paint and collage medium over the brush makes it look witchy and weathered.

Finally, I added the idea-ology drippy candles and a flower from the idea-ology bouquet pack dyed with black soot distress ink spray. This photo gives you a good view of the idea-ology halloween design tape I covered the vignette tray sides with.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed the witches potting shed series and it inspires you to make. I really appreciate the kind and funny comments you’ve left and a big thanks for being patient. Let me know if you have any questions.

Witch flyong inkp a tree

From her perch on the tree's branches, Inkp could see the forest in all its splendor. Vibrant flowers bloomed beneath the shade of the tall trees, while woodland animals scurried about, creating an animated spectacle. The sight of nature's beauty was a constant source of inspiration for Inkp. Inkp would often spend hours sitting on the tree, sketching the scenery with her magical quill. The ink on her sketches would come alive, reflecting the vivid colors and textures of the forest. These magical sketches became treasured memories of her time spent amongst nature's wonders. The tree itself seemed to share a connection with Inkp. Its bark was etched with intricate patterns, resembling the swirls of ink on her sketches. Sensing her presence and companionship, the tree seemed to extend its branches, as if inviting her to climb, explore, and get lost in its labyrinth of secrets. Inkp considered the tree her sanctuary, a place where she could escape the troubles of the outside world and immerse herself in the magic of nature. It was here that she would find solace, healing her spirit and rejuvenating her magical abilities. As time went by, Inkp's bond with the tree grew stronger. The tree became her confidant, listening to her worries, dreams, and aspirations. In return, Inkp would offer the tree her gratitude and protection, casting spells to safeguard it from harm and preserve its timeless beauty. The witch flying inkp and the tree formed a symbiotic relationship, nourishing each other's existence. Inkp's flights brought life and joy to the tree, while the tree provided her with a peaceful haven to express her creativity and recharge her magical energies. In the end, Inkp and the tree became inseparable, bound by a profound connection that transcended the boundaries of conventional understanding. It was a testament to the extraordinary wonders that could be found within the mystical forest and the magic that dwelled within..
