I tried out for the mascot team my sophomore year of high school and was fortunate enough to continue doing it my junior and senior years and I worked with the Spurs too, assisting their mascot. 1. Jack - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Utsa roadrunner school mascot. Firstly, the costume looked cheap and poorly made. The colors were faded and the feathers were falling off. Secondly, the person inside the costume did not seem enthusiastic or engaging at all. They barely interacted with the crowd and just went through the motions. Overall, it was a lackluster performance and did not live up to my expectations.

Not to mention, the person inside the costume was grumpy and made no effort to connect with the audience.
