Twister on Tuesday is the twenty-third book in the Magic Tree House series written by Mary Pope Osborne. The book was first published in 1998 and is targeted towards children between the ages of 6 and 9. In this story, the main characters, Jack and Annie, are once again transported through time and space to a new adventure. The story begins when Jack and Annie find themselves in a Kansas prairie during the time of the Great Plains settlers. They are on a mission to find a special magic wand, but they soon realize that they have ended up in the path of a dangerous tornado. As they struggle to survive the twister, Jack and Annie must also complete a task given to them by Morgan le Fay, the magical librarian who sends them on their adventures.

About the Author
MARY POPE OSBORNE is the author of the New York Times number one bestselling Magic Tree House series. She and her husband, writer Will Osborne (author of Magic Tree House: The Musical), live in northwestern Connecticut with their three dogs. Ms. Osborne is also the coauthor of the companion Magic Tree House Fact Trackers series with Will, and with her sister, Natalie Pope Boyce.

1. Sara - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Twister on Tuesday" in the Magic Tree House series. The story felt rushed and lacked depth. Overall, I found this book to be lacking in quality compared to others in the series.
