The Importance of Listening in 'The Magic Porridge Pot

By admin

The story of "The Magic Porridge Pot" revolves around a young girl named Molly. One day, while she was walking in the forest, she came across a strange old lady, who gave her a small porridge pot. The old lady told Molly that if she said the words "Cook, little pot, cook!" the pot would instantly start making porridge. Excited about her new magical possession, Molly rushed home to try it out. As soon as she arrived, she eagerly said the magic words, and the pot immediately started to cook porridge. Molly was delighted but soon realized that the pot would not stop cooking.

Sometimes I get emails telling me how much they love our drinks and to keep going Little do all of these people know that these messages arrive at just the right time, when I need the encouragement the most. Magi in a bottle

Molly was delighted but soon realized that the pot would not stop cooking. The porridge kept pouring out of the pot, filling up the house and spilling out onto the streets. Panicking, Molly shouted the words "Stop, little pot, stop!" but the pot continued to overflow with porridge.

Magic in a bottle.

Its been awhile since I’ve written my “weekly” notes (oye vey) I truly thought I could commit to this every week, but to be honest, I have been feeling the winter blues already (and its not even officially winter). Running a lemonade company is something I never thought that I would be doing - I did have the the vision that I would someday have my own company and have a white van, I just never pictured what would be in the white van. Now, I am lucky to have an amazing person driving my van for me delivering our lemonades to our faithful customers. The rest of our lemonades go out through distribution and I don’t even see them.

I am feeling a bit disconnected I think, from my customers, from my lemonade, from my stores, from my reason of why I started this in the first place. And, just as I feel these things inevitably someone comes up to me and says, they just love our lemonades! They make me feel like a celebrity and encourage me to keep going. They always remember where they first found us and tell me in detail about their experience and can even tell me my story of how we started! Sometimes I get emails telling me how much they love our drinks and to keep going… Little do all of these people know that these messages arrive at just the right time, when I need the encouragement the most.

I remember in the beginning I would get complete strangers coming up and giving me hugs! (that was a bit awkward for me at first ;) After awhile I welcomed those loving and encouraging gestures from our fans. I still have people coming up and asking for their picture with me (also awkward for me)

There is something about this little lemonade company that continues to intrigue me as to how it attracts these people who “see” my vision for my company. They see it as I see it (and sometimes better), it is more than just lemonade. We’ve bottled up the most delicious organic drinks that are infused with special herbs and spices. These drinks wrapped with my personal story on each glass bottle. Great care has gone into every step of the process and people appreciate and see that. And most importantly, they have us on their weekly shopping list, share our lemonades with their family and friends and at their most important life events.

Truly amazing… a little recipe from my kitchen in Ojai… Thank you to all of you for allowing us this amazing opportunity.

From our family to yours, we are here to serve you the most delicious organic lemonades for you to sip and share.

Putting a deck of cards through a 1” opening is hard enough. Putting it through a ¾” neck that is 3” in length is a whole different story. A beautiful, polished Walnut display stand is included.
The magic porridge pt

The whole neighborhood was soon covered in a sea of porridge. Molly had to think fast, so she grabbed the pot and ran to find the old lady. When Molly found the old lady, she begged for her help to make the pot stop. The old lady smiled and said, "Did you remember to say 'Cook, little pot, stop!'" Molly realized her mistake and quickly repeated the words. Instantly, the pot stopped and the flow of porridge ceased. Molly was relieved, and the old lady explained to her that the pot would only stop cooking if she said the full command. The old lady then added that Molly could keep the magic porridge pot as a reward for her bravery and quick thinking. From that day forward, Molly used the magic porridge pot to help feed the hungry and needy in her village. She became known as the girl with the magical pot, and she eventually grew up to be a kind and generous woman who was loved by all. "The Magic Porridge Pot" teaches us the importance of responsibility and the power of words. It reminds us that we must be mindful of the commands we give and the consequences that may arise. It also emphasizes the value of helping others and using our gifts to make a positive difference in the world..
