1. John - 2/5 stars - I was really looking forward to reading "The Curse of Styria" based on the intriguing synopsis, but I found myself quite disappointed. The pacing was incredibly slow, and the plot felt disjointed. The characters lacked depth, and I couldn't connect with any of them. The author also seemed to rely heavily on clichés and predictable tropes, which made the story feel unoriginal. Overall, this book just didn't live up to my expectations.

The prose felt clumsy and awkward, with numerous grammar and spelling mistakes throughout. The dialogue was stilted and unrealistic, making it hard for me to engage with the story. Additionally, the plot was confusing and lacked coherence. I struggled to understand what was happening and found myself having to reread sections multiple times.
