In the dark and twisted realm of folklore and mythology, there exists a malevolent witch known as the Colorblaze. This powerful being possesses a peculiar ability: the power to manipulate and control colors. With a mere flick of her fingers, she can ignite a kaleidoscope of hues, setting the world ablaze with a swirling frenzy of shades and tones. Legend has it that the Colorblaze witch was once an ordinary mortal, but her insatiable hunger for power and dominance led her down a treacherous path. Unbeknownst to her, the pursuit of such dark magic came at a great cost, as her heart became tainted and blackened with each spell she cast. As her powers grew, so too did the malevolence within her.
Since series 9 premiered considerably later than previous series, it didn't end until 5 December 2015 and subsequently days 1-5 of the Adventure Calendar were dedicated to promoting the finale.
A notable exception to the scheduling was the 2009 instalment, which continued past Christmas until 1 January 2010 in order to promote both chapters of TV The End of Time. Festive LEGO City Advent sets come with colorful miniature builds and fun characters that stimulate imaginative role play, helping kids developphysical and creative skills.
As her powers grew, so too did the malevolence within her. The Colorblaze witch became consumed by her desire for control, using her abilities to wreak havoc and turmoil upon those who dared to cross her path. Villages would tremble at the mere mention of her name, for they knew that anyone caught within the reach of her deadly color schemes would surely meet a grim fate.
Acting Adventures: 10 to 12 Week Sessions
In our Acting Adventures classes, students in 3rd-8th grade learn the importance of using their body, voice, and imagination, while working on a one act play. These ten to twelve week sessions are perfect for the busy student who wants the opportunity to be in a play. You can enroll your child in the fall and spring session or choose the one that works best for you!
Session 1: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
That master of imaginative enchantment, C.S. Lewis, has created a unique world and he invites children to walk into it and enjoy both surprise and adventure. An old house in rural England becomes the home base for four children who wander into an incredible country through an old wardrobe and help the country return to summer. In the incredible Narnia, they make friends with the frightened forest people who have almost given up hope for the return of good King Aslan, their true ruler. When Aslan was there, it was always summer. There is a great battle to see whether this magical country will remain under a wintry spell or will, once again, know freedom and summer under good King Aslan. A charming play about courage and the love of freedom.
