Rainbow Magic Land is a popular theme park located in Valmontone, Italy. It is one of the largest amusement parks in the country and is known for its wide variety of attractions and rides that cater to all ages. The park opened in 2011 and has since become a favorite destination for families and thrill seekers alike. The park is divided into different themed areas, each offering a unique experience. One of the most popular areas is the Fairytale Forest, where visitors can meet their favorite fairytale characters and explore enchanting settings. With its vibrant colors and magical atmosphere, this area is especially popular among children.

Discover what to do. it's very easy!
1) Take a photo in which you show one or more Winx Club magazine(s). use all your imagination!

yup there is a ride inside the castle but as you wait in line for it you go through different parts like Dumbledore s office and some hallways with statues and other things that were seen in the movies. Yes, they tell you what s going on during the ride as well as during the pre-shows, but I don t speak Italian and from trying to figure it out just by looking at the action.

With its vibrant colors and magical atmosphere, this area is especially popular among children. Another highlight of Rainbow Magic Land is the Thrill Area, which is home to some of the park's most exhilarating rides. From roller coasters to water slides, there is no shortage of adrenaline-pumping attractions for daredevils.

An Inside Look At Rainbow Magicland Theme Park

Welcome people of Coaster Nation! Today we have something very special for all of you. Join us as we take a look around one of Italy’s newest theme parks, Rainbow Magicland. Located just south of Rome, this park offers 35 attractions full of thrills, games, and a journey full of “magic” for the whole family!

Rainbow Magicland opened it’s gates for the summer of 2011. Unfortunately, the park opened with a lot of kinks (mostly signature rides being down) however, by our visit in June of 2012, it seemed those kinks were worked out and we were ready to have a fun day at Italy’s newest theme park!

The entrance plaza has a very Islands of Adventure feel to it. Complete with a lighthouse! Ok, it was a little different than Port of Entry, but it had a very similar feel. Along the sides there are several shops and eateries to choose from. You can even pick up some Nutella!

Going left from the entrance plaza you come to the parks water rides. Le Rapide (not pictured) is the park’s rapids ride. We promise it will get you soaked (but that is a good thing under the hot Italian sun).

Yukatan (seen above) is a standard Chute-the-Chutes type ride with some fun effects inside (we won’t spoil the surprise!). Also check out that awesome facade!

Huntik 5D is like Spiderman meets your typical shoot-em-up 3D dark ride. This was themed as if guests were exploring ruins searching for a special artifact…. then things go wrong.

Oh did we mention the A/C is superb!

Continuing clockwise around the park, we come to the first Maurer Söhne coasters CAGLIOSTRO!

We can assume the name comes from Alessandro Cagliostro. Alessandro was an Italian adventurer from the late 1700’s. His name appears many times throughout Italian film and books during the 1900’s with all kinds of fascinating stories and fictional tales about his life. In this case, Cagliostro comes in the form of an indoor spinning coaster!

Cagliostro is mainly in pitch black besides a few strobe lights here and there.

At one point Cagliostro pops out over the midway before rushing back into the darkness and chaos!

Olandese Volante is our next stop. Dipping around trees and through rock work this fun mine train coaster by Vekoma is perfect for this family park!

Pictured here is Maison Houdini which is a mad house. A mad house is something you will find at most European theme parks but you can only find a few in the US.

You sit on a bench while facing another group and the room will begin to spin around you. Each has a different theme and this one as we are sure you guessed is themed around magic! This is another perfect family ride for this park but be warned it doesn’t open with the park (at least on our visit) it opened up at 2:30pm.

Behind Maison Houdini is the park’s kids area. There you will find a typical Wacky Worm and a Vekoma Roller Skater. Also you will find Believix the unique dark ride themed to the Winx Club using the technology from the Peter Pan rides found at the Disney parks it was a nice surprise for us!

Looking across the lagoon from the Maison Houdini we knew exactly where we were heading next!

Another Maurer Söhne beauty. Shock is defiantly the center piece for Rainbow Magicland. It’s large, it’s bright, and it can be seen from anywhere in the park!

The ride it self is a ton of fun with an intense launch, plenty of airtime and some inversions for those who love going upside down. Shock was another surprise from our visit from Rainbow Magicland and ended up being one of our favorite coasters in Italy!

Remember how we mentioned Rainbow Magicland had an Islands of Adventure feel to it? Well check out what is just across the street, that looks like an entrance from a certain park next to IOA… Let us know what you think!

We took L’Isola Volante also known as the Island in the Sky to give you a birds eye view of the park before we headed out!

Thank you Rainbow Magicland for a fun visit! You were defiantly a surprise and we hope to see you continue to grow and stay a success!

BONUS! Here is a beautiful Italian hilltop village from the highway while on our way to the next park! Where would you like for us to visit? Let us know on our socials!

Reviews for "Unraveling the History of Raonbow Magic Land"

1. John - 1 star
I found "Rainbow Magic Land" to be a disappointing and overrated amusement park. The rides were mostly for young children, and as an adult, I didn't find them thrilling or exciting at all. The park lacks variety in terms of attractions, and after a couple of hours, I felt like I had seen everything there was to see. The food options were limited and overpriced, and the park was overcrowded, which made for a very unpleasant experience. Overall, I wouldn't recommend visiting "Rainbow Magic Land" unless you have children who are the perfect age to enjoy the limited range of rides.
2. Emily - 2 stars
My experience at "Rainbow Magic Land" was underwhelming and not worth the price. While the theme of the park is appealing, the execution falls short. The queues for the rides were ridiculously long, and the staff seemed disorganized and unhelpful. The park could benefit from better maintenance, as some of the attractions were in need of repairs. Also, the overall atmosphere felt chaotic and lacked the magic that other amusement parks provide. If you are looking for a memorable and enjoyable day out, I suggest considering other options instead of "Rainbow Magic Land."

"Rainbow Magic Land" left much to be desired. The park lacked proper signage, making it difficult to navigate and locate the rides. Additionally, I found the park's cleanliness to be subpar. The restrooms were dirty, and there was trash scattered throughout the park. The ticket prices were expensive for the limited number of attractions available. The park seemed outdated and in need of renovation. Overall, I was unimpressed with "Rainbow Magic Land" and won't be returning in the future.

I regretted my decision to visit "Rainbow Magic Land" as the overall experience was far from magical. The rides were outdated and not properly maintained. I encountered several technical issues with the rides, resulting in long waits and frustration. The park was also crowded, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly. The food options were limited and overpriced, leaving me hungry and dissatisfied. I would advise anyone considering visiting "Rainbow Magic Land" to reconsider and opt for a better-reviewed amusement park instead.
