Check the growing potential in your area
A plant's growing potential is determined from its location, the time of year, and current local weather.
Select a city to check sunlight intensity
Finding light for Magic Cherry Orchid in your home
6ft or less froma window
Magic Cherry Orchid can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Magic Cherry Orchid in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Magic Cherry Orchid
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Magic Cherry Orchid after it doubles in size or once a year —whichever comes first.
As requested, here’s the vinicolor paph, fully opened. 🌹Wish me luck. I’ve had no success with paphs in the past, really hoping I can figure them out this time. They are notorious slow growers. This hybrid is paph Superbly Wood. Love the macabre look. #Paphiopedilum #OrchidLovers #OrchidOrg #GregGang #NewPlant #FreshBloom
Local nursery had paphs, so suffice to say, I came home with 2. 😅 Can’t wait to see the vinicolor open up! #OrchidLovers #NewPlant #OrchidOrg #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #Paphiopedilum #GregGang
#OrchidLovers !! Look at this sneaky new bud! May 2nd to today. I’ve found paphs to be challenging in the past, but I think I’m finally getting the hang of them. 🌱 #OrchidOrg #Paphiopedilum #FreshLeafFriday #HappyPlants #NewGrowth
Anyone have any experience with brown tips on a #Paphiopedilum #Orchid that’s potted in a well-draining orchid growing medium in an orchid pot with lots of air flow/holes?
GUYS 😭 I was walking around my room doing a growth check (yes, with my turbie twist on 🧖♀️ lol), and went over to the lil orchid babies and saw a new leaf on one! So of course I excitedly ran my finger over it and (embarrassingly) started congratulating Leilani and telling her I was proud of her, and that’s when I suddenly realized… IT’S NOT A LEAF, IT’S THE START OF A SPIKE (. ) and I suddenly lost all brain functioning for about 2 minutes while chaotically repeating “oh my god, oh my god” and attempted to record a video explaining why this was such a huge deal for me. (P.S. — Let’s be thankful that we can’t upload videos to Greg for now, because some things are better left unseen lmao.) This freaking orchid… I’ve put her through hell. I accidentally overfertilized and burned her less than 2 weeks after getting her in March of this year. After nursing her back to health, I then stressed her out again when I moved in May. I got her as a younger orchid, so I’ve never seen her bloom irl (although I’ve seen pictures 🥵). In fact, none of my orchids have bloomed yet, I’m definitely a #NewPlantParent when it comes to orchids. Even though #Paphiopedilum orchids are terrestrial and moisture-loving, I’ve been doing a shitty job maintaining her watering schedule. TL;DR — She’s not only survived in spite of me, but my “problem” orchid just happens to be the first that will (hopefully) bloom! What are the chances?! 🥳 In case you can’t tell, I’m really f*cking excited. Brain still not fully recovered from the surge of glee. Geez, nature is pretty cool dude! 🌸 #OrchidLovers #OrchidOrg #RareOrchid #ResilientPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #PlantShelfie
Hey #OrchidLovers , how often do you water your slipper orchids #Paphiopedilum )? 🌸 My #PaphiopedilumOrchid has been looking a bit worse for the wear recently. I noticed that one of her leaves has a split in it, and other have yellowed. I’m suspecting a watering issue. Has anyone else ever had symptoms like this with their slipper orchids?
Help with slipper orchid Anyone know what could be wrong with my slipper orchid? She was doing fine but now has these small brown spots on some leaves. And one leaf is yellowing. She’s not in direct sunlight. I don’t know if it could be over or under watering. Any ideas? 🤔
Magic Cherry Orchid prefers for the soil to dry out between waterings and should be watered regularly. Use our water calculator to personalize watering recommendations to your environment or download Greg for more advanced recommendations for all of your plants.

Greg does not have confirmed data on this plant’s toxicity. If you, a family member, or a pet consumes plant material of unknown toxicity, it’s always best to consult a medical professional.

Magic Cherry Orchid does best in well-draining soil. A good soil will contain lots of organic matter such as coco coir as well as perlite or vermiculite to help with drainage. Adding a handful of perlite to regular store-bought potting soil should do the trick!
When troubleshooting a sad-looking houseplant, start by checking for signs of distress in its leaves, such as yellowing, browning, or drooping, which can indicate overwatering or nutrient deficiencies.
Inspect the soil moisture; too dry or too wet soil can cause problems.
Ensure the plant is getting the right amount of light, as too much or too little can stress it.
Finally, consider environmental factors like temperature and humidity, and adjust care routines accordingly to revive your plant.

Reviews for "Fun for All Ages: Family-Friendly Attractions at Magic Springs Cabana"
- Emma - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with my stay at Magic Springs Cabana. First of all, the staff were quite rude and unhelpful. Secondly, the cabins were not as clean and well maintained as I expected. The sheets were stained and there were a lot of bugs in the cabin. The facilities, such as the swimming pool and the play area, were also not properly maintained. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend staying here.
- John - 1 star - My experience at Magic Springs Cabana was terrible. The cabins were extremely cramped and uncomfortable. The air conditioning was not working properly and it was hot and stuffy inside. The noise from the nearby highway was also unbearable, making it difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. The staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive to our complaints. I would not stay here again.
- Sarah - 2 stars - I was not impressed with Magic Springs Cabana. The cabins were outdated and in need of renovation. The furniture was worn out and uncomfortable. The kitchenette was dirty and poorly equipped. There were also not enough parking spaces for all the guests, which was quite inconvenient. The location was not great either, as it was quite far from the main attractions. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I would not recommend this place.
