A dance-floor brawl broke out on board a Carnival cruise ship early Tuesday ahead of its docking in the Big Apple, authorities said.

The ship, which departed from the Cape Liberty Cruise Port in New Jersey on June 20, traveled to Dominicana, Turks and Caicos and a private island in the Bahamas before returning to the East Coast, according to an online tracker. Other highlights of the ship are the RedFrog Rum Bar, adults-only Serenity Retreat sundeck, Lip Sync Battle Carnival, WaterWorks aqua park, Cloud 9 Spa, Alchemy Bar, and Camp Ocean kids clubs.

Carnival Cruise Line is Back in New York City

After nearly three years, Carnival Cruise Line has resumed homeport operations in New York City. The line last time the operator had a ship based there was in 2019.

Carnival Magic arrived into the Big Apple today, and is set to offer a series of four to nine-night voyages to Bermuda, Canada, and the Caribbean from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. The first voyage will be a four-night Bermuda itinerary.

The ship will stay in New York through late September, also offering eight-night eastern Caribbean cruises with ports including Grand Turk, St. Thomas, San Juan, and more.

“New York has been a wonderful partner for more than two decades, and we are delighted to provide versatile vacation options from this popular market again,” said Carnival Cruise Line president Christine Duffy.

In September, the ship will offer two seven-night cruises roundtrip to Canada, with stops in Saint John, New Brunswick; Sydney, Nova Scotia; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. This October, the ship will reposition to Norfolk, Virginia to operate two Bahamas and two Bermuda itineraries. At the end of the month, Magic will head down to her winter home in Port Canaveral to spend the season sailing six and eight-night Caribbean cruises.

Carnival Magic is a Dream-class vessel, and debuted in 2011. It was the sixth ship in the Carnival fleet to resume service when it set sail from Port Canaveral on August 7 of last year.

Reviews for "Lowes' Halloween Witch Collection: Spellbinding Deals Await"

1. John Smith - 2 out of 5 stars - I was really disappointed with the Lowes Halloween witch decoration. First of all, the quality of the product was subpar. The witch's hat was bent out of shape and there were some noticeable tears in the fabric. Additionally, the motion sensor didn't work consistently. Sometimes it would go off when someone walked by, other times it remained silent. Overall, I expected better from Lowes and wouldn't recommend this product.
2. Sarah Johnson - 1 out of 5 stars - I had high hopes for the Lowes Halloween witch, but it ended up being a complete letdown. The motion sensor was extremely sensitive, so even the slightest movement would set it off. This became irritating very quickly, as it would constantly startle my guests. Furthermore, the witch looked very cheap and poorly made. The fabric was thin and frayed in some areas, and the hat was floppy instead of standing upright as pictured. Save your money and buy a better quality Halloween decoration elsewhere.
3. David Thompson - 2 out of 5 stars - I purchased the Lowes Halloween witch and was disappointed with the overall design. The witch's face lacked any sort of realistic features and looked more like a cartoon character than a spooky Halloween decoration. The body of the witch was too small and didn't have enough presence to make a significant impact. I found it difficult to position the decoration in a way that made it noticeable and creepy. I would not recommend this product if you're looking for a truly scary Halloween display.
