Jesus Pagan y su Orquesta is a renowned salsa band hailing from Puerto Rico. Led by the talented musician Jesus Pagan, the band has created a name for itself in the music industry with their infectious rhythms and energetic performances. With a career spanning several decades, Jesus Pagan y su Orquesta has delighted audiences all over the world with their unique blend of salsa, jazz, and Latin rhythms. Each member brings their own unique style and expertise to the table, resulting in a cohesive and dynamic musical experience.

Character Animation (4:40) breaks the film down into phases of production; it’s something we’ve seen time and again, but it’s still fun to see early and incomplete animation. Finally, The Making Of The Soundtrack (3:44) discusses the composer (Ramin Djawadi, who also scored Iron Man and Pacific Rim, as well as many TV shows) and the role of music in the film. The disc also includes the film’s Teaser (1:26) and Trailer (2:05).

Daniel slowly descends into madness as he faces forces he cannot comprehend, and the stakes get higher and higher, leading to a mad charge to the finish with a recuperating Lawrence racing home from the hospital to save his lovely old home. Even my review copy has a sticker on it labelling this as a Wal-Mart exclusive, and a second sticker highlights that a 3D version is included, though the actual disc count remains unintentionally misleading.

THUNDER AND THE HOUSE OF MAGIC

The animated film, Thunder and the House of Magic is directed by Ben Stassen Jeremy Degruson. The story is about a small, orange cat named, Thunder, who is abandoned by his owners. While wandering the neighborhood, he happens upon a supposedly haunted house, which is full of magical toys and an old magician.

Although, Thunder is quickly accepted into the house by the elder performer, he is not immediately approved of by the rest of the group. Through several adventures and troubles arising with the magician's not-so-nice nephew, who is trying to sell the house against the magician's wishes, the group begins to bond.

My favorite scene is when the old magician does a magic show for children in a local hospital. The magic is funny, imaginative and it is sweet that he does a show for kids in need.

Parents should know that this film is not for little kids! In the beginning, Thunder is chased by a scary dog, almost gets hit by cars and nearly falls out of a tree. In the end, he is thought to be dead for a short period of time. There is also a bit of bad language.

Therefore, I recommend this movie for ages 9 to 14. I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars for loveable characters and an original storyline. It is available now on DVD! Reviewed by Katie G., KIDS FIRST! Film Critic, age 13.
