When Kyubey's scientifically-advanced race discovered magic, they realized its capacity to create new energy can postpone maximum Entropy and delay the heat death of the Universe. However, Kyubey's race is incapable of emotions, thus they scoured the Universe for species with the most emotional potential. He found his answer in Earth's human females, especially those still developing secondary sex characteristics. Magical girls and Witches, and thus the settings of the story, are the result of Kyubey's quest to harvest this energy.
The consequences of my error were immediate and severe. As soon as this newly empowered individual discovered their newfound abilities, chaos ensued. They had no idea how to harness the power properly, and their actions became reckless and destructive. Innocent lives were put in danger, and the very foundations of reality began to crumble. I frantically tried to rectify the situation, to undo what I had mistakenly done. But the damage was already done, and my attempts to regain control over their powers only seemed to worsen the situation. It became clear that I had created a monster, an unintentional force of destruction that I couldn't control. Regret consumes me, Diary. I never imagined that my good intentions could lead to such devastation. I was blinded by my desire to find someone worthy of this power, and in doing so, I failed to consider the consequences of giving it to the wrong person. It was an inexcusable oversight, one that I will have to live with for the rest of my days. It is my responsibility to fix this mess, to find a way to strip this person of the powers they should have never possessed. But it won't be easy. The once-powerless individual I chose has become corrupted by their newfound abilities, blinded by the seductive allure of unlimited power.
