L’Oreal Anti-Redness Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream Review & Swatches

LOreal Anti-Redness Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream is one of two new correcting “BB Cream” formulas that L’Oreal recently introduced to the US market for Fall 2014 that will be a permanent part of the Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream Collection (these launched in the UK several months ago so they aren’t a new product merely new to our market).

I think “BB Cream” is a little misleading as these are more of a correcting primer of sorts as they do not offer any coverage merely prep skin for makeup. The LOreal Anti-Redness Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream was created to ease redness and even out skin tone.

Shall we take a look?

I don’t actually suffer from redness myself but reader’s had requested swatches of LOreal Anti-Redness Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream so I did purchase it to swatch and give my thoughts on it.

It’s a funny thing about this formula as I actually used it and liked it. Where as the LOreal Anti-Fatigue Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream and original Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream formula was just TOO orange to do much of anything for my skin tone, the Anti-Redness formula actually morphs to a lighter beige orange that brightens up my dullness a bit.

The formula starts off life as a mint green shade, it kinda reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream since it has tiny flecks of color adjusting pigments amidst the green. As you apply it the shade morphs and supposedly “adjusts” to your skin tone. It worked great for me as the color changed to a lighter beige with slight orange undertones. I noticed it brightens up my face ever so slightly and eased my dullness a little bit. If you skin is already fairly good sans blemishes or any other issues this is actually a very light coverage that will brighten and give your skin a little boost for a natural look sans foundation. The creamy yet runny texture is lightly hydrating and absorbs easily into my skin.

However, in my opinion even though with slightly red cheeks likely won’t find this eases redness well and it definitely won’t do much for extreme redness or ruddiness. If you have slight redness it might be fitting as a primer prior to foundation or BB Cream the lighter coverage it offers might be a good companion along with your foundation. However, on its own I am doubtful it’ll do well with redness.

Funny isn’t it that LOreal Anti-Redness Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream actually works better for me than the other formulas and I don’t even have issues with redness!

LOreal Anti-Redness Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream isn’t an essential item but if you’re curious you might want to try it our as a primer of sorts prior to your regular foundation application but only if you find it on sale!

They may also experience social isolation as they prioritize digital interactions over face-to-face relationships. Additionally, the financial burden of purchasing and maintaining the necessary technology can lead to financial instability. The factors contributing to half-magic chromaddiction are multi-faceted. The immersive nature of AR and VR experiences, combined with the constant availability of these technologies, creates a perfect storm for addiction.
