I realized pretty quick into our 1st year of his arrival that lots of the ideas out there for the Elf on the Shelf were just very unrealistic for my families situation. 1. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Elf on the Shelf Under a Frozen Spell". Firstly, I found the storyline to be quite weak and predictable. It seemed like they were just trying to cash in on the success of the original "Elf on the Shelf" book without putting much effort into creating an engaging plot. Additionally, the illustrations were not very impressive. They lacked detail and creativity, making the book feel quite generic. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone looking for a captivating and unique holiday story.
2. Lisa - 1 star - "Elf on the Shelf Under a Frozen Spell" was a huge letdown for me. The writing was incredibly cheesy and lacked any sort of depth. I found the characters to be unmemorable and the dialogue to be unrealistic.
