After watching my mom go through Stage 3 Breast Cancer with months of chemo, radiation, and surgeries, I realized how important it is for people to be proactive about early prevention by doing weekly self exams in order to catch breast cancer in the early stages .
The past 10 years, I have branded myself around the color #PinkWithAPurpose, to help remind people to do those weekly self-exams, as well as celebrate and empower survivors and support those affected by cancer in any way.
God truly worked some miracles for my family, and my mom is still with us. However, she fights the after-affects of cancer of every single day. My mom will forever be a part of the Immunocompromised Community because of the amount of damage done to her body from the treatments. She will be on medication for the rest of her life for many reasons, including a damaged thyroid from the radiation treatments and hormone suppressants to keep the cancer from returning.

I have given speeches for events of all kinds, such as the Pink Glow Party with the Asbury Theological Seminary Fitness Center. I have volunteered at events like the Pink Prom and Pearls and Pumps in Louisville, Kentucky. I have also performed at numerous Cancer events such as Cancer Survivors Dinners and Banquettes.
July of 2019, I gave a speech for the Unveiling Ceremony for the Triple Crown Concrete Breast Cancer Awareness Trucks. “Triple Crown Concrete, (a division of Hinkle Contracting Company, LLC) and Baptist Health Corbin are partnering to raise awareness for breast cancer and making a splash in the surrounding counties with Triple Crown’s newly painted pink trucks. For every yard of concrete delivered by one of their 3 new pink trucks, Triple Crown Concrete is donating a percentage of sales directly to the hospital. With these proceeds and other fund-raising initiatives, Baptist Health Corbin plans to purchase an additional 3D or tomosynthesis mammography unit, which costs around $500,000. This unit is typically referred to as a “diagnostic mammogram.” Studies have shown that 3D mammograms reduce the need for additional imaging and increases the number of cancers detected during screening.”
Five years later, after years of dreaming and months of hard work, I am proud to say that I am the proud owner of Pink Pants Friday, LLC, my brand, business, and social impact initiative centered around Pink and Cancer Awareness through the arts, with my original graphic designs and visual art. Chemotherapy can cause side effects such as hair loss, nausea, and fatigue, but these can often be managed with medications and supportive care. Radiation therapy uses high-energy X-rays or other types of radiation to destroy cancer cells or shrink tumors. It is often used after surgery to kill any remaining cancer cells or as a palliative treatment to relieve symptoms and improve the patient's quality of life. Targeted therapy is a newer approach that specifically targets cancer cells, inhibiting their growth and survival. It works by interfering with specific proteins or pathways involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells. Targeted therapy drugs are typically administered orally and have fewer side effects compared to chemotherapy. While significant progress has been made in the treatment of pancreatic cancer, more research is needed to find a permanent cure. This includes exploring new treatment approaches, developing more effective drugs, and improving early detection methods. Additionally, prevention strategies such as lifestyle changes, early screening, and genetic testing can play a crucial role in reducing the incidence and mortality rates of pancreatic cancer. In conclusion, the cure for pancreatic cancer, also known as the pink panther disease, remains elusive. However, medical advancements and ongoing research offer hope for improved treatments and potentially a cure in the future. I found "Cure of the Pink Panthers" to be highly disappointing. The plot was confusing and poorly developed, and the characters lacked depth and authenticity. The dialogue felt forced and unnatural, making it difficult to connect with any of the characters. Furthermore, the pacing was extremely slow, which made it difficult to maintain interest in the story. Overall, I do not recommend this book to anyone looking for a captivating and well-written mystery novel.

I cannot express enough how much I disliked "Cure of the Pink Panthers." The writing style was clumsy and filled with unnecessary descriptions that added nothing to the story. The author attempted to incorporate multiple subplots, but none of them were properly executed or tied together, making the overall narrative feel disjointed and confusing. Additionally, the characters were incredibly one-dimensional, lacking any believable motivations or personality traits. It was a struggle to finish this book, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
