I think it’s safe to say that I absolutely cannot keep up with the Asks I’ve gotten over the years on Tumblr. 💔 I’m sorry again for that.

Almost Magical REBOOT

Hey guys! I’m sorry for my absence. I hope you’re all doing well. If you follow me on IG, you’ve probably heard the news. Please know that I recently changed my username from “ almost.magical.comic ” to “ chocolatesmoothie.art ” So the account can be my official art page.

These are initial character redesigns for Almost Magical reboot ✨ 2020✨

So Chapter 4, page 51 marks the end of the webcomic as you know it. I’ll be putting it on hold, to make room for the new reboot later this year or early 2021.

I thought about this reboot since 2017. Mostly because the comic you see, is not the vision I have for it now. Especially when it comes to the lead character, Star.

The current webcomic will serve as a pilot, one that will acquaint you to the characters.

I don’t want to put anymore delays than i already have. So here we are.

I find there was no better time than now.

The comic will be on WEBTOON/ Tapas, with a shorter, fast-paced story. Character redesigns like the one you see here. A change in comic art style (for efficiency) and also a more creative art style overall, that sets this project apart from the Winx cartoon. (But not really? Because it’s still Winx lol)

You disappointed? Me too. 😂 It’s a bit sudden but, it’s ultimately for the best. After 8 years, things can get tiring as they are. I apologize to anyone who is upset by this huge shift.

Change—felt like the best way to move forward.

Almost Magical

Almost Magical is basically a fanfiction spin off of the 2004 Italian Magical Girl series, “Winxclub” (created by Iginio Straffi and Rainbow S.r.l.) which is essentially about a young Earth girl named Bloom who soon discovers she is a fairy and the keeper of the mystical power called the"Dragon's Flame". With five other fairies: Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Layla, they battle against evil and go on adventures around a universe called the Magical Dimension. It was ultimately the author's childhood and she loved it very much.

This webcomic is the author's baby and it’s a project she’ve been working on for the past seven years. The story revolves around six girls who mirror the six protagonists of the original series, and their lives as the so- called “Winx Next Generation". They are the children of the six fairy protagonists of Winxclub.

The tour guides seemed disinterested and rushed through their explanations, leaving us with insufficient information about the places we visited. Additionally, the transportation used for the excursions was uncomfortable and outdated. Overall, I felt like the excursions were a waste of money and did not enhance my cruise experience at all.

4. David - 1 star - I regret booking any of the Carnival magic excursions. The tour groups were too large, making it difficult to enjoy the attractions without feeling crowded and rushed. The guides barely interacted with the participants and lacked enthusiasm. The excursions were also very expensive, and I believe I could have explored the destinations on my own for a fraction of the cost. Save your money and skip these excursions if you can.
