I hate reading a book and all the author has done is mash a bunch of tropes together for no apparent reason. I will say that I feel like we’ve been seeing slightly less of this more recently than 2021, but on the other hand, maybe I am just better at picking out books now.

It s cringe-y to go back and see how eager I was in my old posts, but I think many other bloggers who started their blogs as teens would agree with me in that we all go through the intense, has to have an opinion on everything phase of being a teenager, and sometimes you have to go through that to realize that truly, it is rarely ever that deep.

Big day for me personally because: happy six year years of magical reads and also Jimin Face release day to all those who celebrate!! Six years is a huge milestone for someone who thought five, and even four or three, years of maintaining a blog was a lot. Everything’s been a lot slower for me for the past year, in terms of writing posts and reviews and reading new books, unfortunately, but we trudge on.

I also shared my top six favorite posts from the past year as usual, which made me realize that I have been severely slacking on sharing book recommendations. I’ll try to remedy that this upcoming year when I have the time and energy to put together those posts.
