Everyone loves to Jitterbug! The Arbogast Jitterbug has been around for over fifty years, and it is still going strong. Ask any night time bass angler if they carry a Jitterbug, and chances are you will hear that they do. Ask them what color they use, and you will no doubt hear that it is black. Yes indeed! Black Jitterbugs produce plenty of night bass. A Jitterbug is so easy to use, and fun too. In short, it is a winner - for night expert or beginner!

Basic Anatomy. It is an oddball kind of lure because of the oversized metal wobbleplate screwed into its nose. Only the Heddon Crazy Crawler, another surface wobbler, exceeds the Jitterbug in the odd appearance category. However, the Crazy Crawler never developed the fish-catching reputation of the Jitterbug. The big Musky Jitterbug was the oddest and fiercest looking of all. It was festooned with treble hooks coming out its ears! Unfortunately, this legendary big bass lure is not available from the manufacturer right now.

What could be simpler? Just reel in straight and steady in order to get the best fish-enticing action out of a Jitterbug. If you are a beginning night fisherman, it's hard to go wrong here as long as you don't go too fast or too slow - and don't try to get too fancy.

These are the topwater lures you will see Roland Martin using on his TV show. Used with a walk-the-dog action, the HighRoller has a natural fleeing baitfish splash and sounds are deadly. Aerodynamic shape makes it a long-distance casting champ in a compact lure size. For best lure action, a loop knot, split ring or snap is best.

If you enjoy the thrill of explosive topwater strikes (and who doesn't), then treat yourself to a HighRoller lure. Each HighRoller lure is crafted from solid wood. Painted individually by hand for a custom lacquer paint job. All have yellow and black painted eyes. Gel-coated for durability using a brilliant 2 part epoxy coating, and have fine june-bug metal flake glitter in the gel coat. Deep rich colors, durability and tantalizing action. These solid wood lures are deadly on bass, stripers and many other species of surface-feeding freshwater or inshore saltwater gamefish.

Topwater Lures Made Easy! (Beginner To Advanced)

Choosing the right topwater can be a real challenge! Between poppers, walkers, crawlers, whopper poppers, buzz baits, frogs, and toads its hard to know what to throw. But just like anything else, there are key baits that seem to work day after day and month after month. Today Matt is opening up his topwater boxes and sharing the key "stand outs" that he relies on to get bit when it counts.

Matt breaks his spring topwater into 4 categories. He relies on poppers, walking baits, straight retrieve baits, and frogs, to catch fish throughout Spring. Within those 4 categories it gets pretty complicated (as witnessed by the 4 boxes of topwaters he pulls out of the rod locker) but today he is sharing his favorites with us. From each category he's able to quickly select the "key" baits that will get bit when you need them most.

Below you'll find links to the exact topwater lures shown in the video. We've included the guys favorite colors and sizes for each, as well as some of the different rods they use to throw these baits. All the links go directly to Tackle Warehouse where you can see detailed photos and descriptions of each item.

Reviews for "The Art of Attracting Fish with Yellow Magic Lures"

1. John - 1/5 stars - I was extremely disappointed with the "Yellow Magic Lure". I bought it based on all the hype and positive reviews, but it did not live up to the expectations at all. First of all, it didn't catch any fish during the multiple times I tried using it. Secondly, the quality of the lure itself was very poor. It felt flimsy and cheaply made. Overall, I would not recommend this lure to anyone who is serious about fishing.
2. Emily - 2/5 stars - I had high hopes for the "Yellow Magic Lure" after hearing so much about it, but sadly, it fell short of my expectations. While the lure did manage to attract some fish, it was not as effective as I had anticipated. Additionally, the durability of the lure came into question as it started showing signs of wear after just a few uses. The color also seemed to fade easily. Considering the price of this lure, I expected better performance and longevity. I won't be repurchasing this one.
3. Michael - 1/5 stars - I regret purchasing the "Yellow Magic Lure". The claims made about its effectiveness were greatly exaggerated. I found it to be pretty much useless on my fishing trips. It didn't attract any fish, and I ended up wasting a significant amount of time and money on it. I feel like I was misled by all the positive reviews online. It's frustrating when a product doesn't live up to its promises, and that's exactly what happened with this lure. I would strongly advise against buying it.
4. Sarah - 2/5 stars - The "Yellow Magic Lure" didn't work as well as I had hoped. It seemed promising, with its vibrant color and supposed effectiveness, but it didn't deliver the desired results. The fish showed minimal interest in the lure, and I had to resort to using other baits to actually catch anything. The overall design of the lure was also not very practical, making it difficult to cast accurately. I wouldn't recommend spending your money on this lure when there are better options available in the market.
