Empowerment and Healing with the Woosen Rune Set

By admin

The Woosen rune set is a collection of ancient symbols that hold great significance in certain spiritual and metaphysical practices. The origins of these runes can be traced back to the ancient Woosen civilization, and they have been passed down through generations as a means of divination and communication. Each rune holds a unique meaning and is associated with a specific element or concept. For example, the first rune in the set represents the element of air and is associated with communication, creativity, and mental clarity. Another rune symbolizes the element of fire and is linked to passion, energy, and transformation. Traditionally, the Woosen rune set is made up of 12 symbols, each handcrafted from natural materials such as wood or stone.

IIRC, we also had a pair of gloves in PF1 that basically gave enhancement bonus to weapons thrown, but i can't recall the name of it. We might get something like that too. I'd be okay with a system wherein I have 10 daggers for throwing, I pay to put runes on one with potency & striking and the rest end up with the same bonus somehow. And then I proceed to throw and use them all up. Generally speaking this is worse than just having returning on that one dagger, so the cost should honestly end up at about the same. I wish they just let the doubling rings work on thrown weapons.

Returning works great in PF2 mechanically and has good flavor for weapons you use as both melee and ranged weapons like hammers or whatever, but it is really goofy when instead of throwing a volley of shurikens you re just throwing the same shuriken over and over really fast. Another idea is having multiple magic daggers, and having the multiple daggers being a positive as they can all be different, giving you some versatility.

Traditionally, the Woosen rune set is made up of 12 symbols, each handcrafted from natural materials such as wood or stone. The runes are typically arranged in a specific pattern, either in a circle or in rows, and are used for various purposes, including gaining insights into the past, present, and future, seeking guidance, and connecting with higher realms. To use the Woosen rune set for divination, one must first develop a strong connection with the runes and familiarize themselves with their meanings.

Can you 'upgrade' specific magic item property runes?

You can't etch or transfer any property runes onto a specific weapon that it doesn't already have, and you can't remove its property runes. You can't etch or transfer any property runes onto a specific armor that it doesn't already have or remove its property runes.

  • Could you upgrade a Storm Flash's Shock rune to Shock (Greater)?
  • Could you upgrade an Energizing Lattice's Fortification to Fortification (Greater)?

The crux is, of course, whether making a rune Greater (etc.) constitutes applying a rune "it doesn't already have".
