The concept of a witch avalanche of love is an intriguing and enchanting one. It conjures images of a powerful force, akin to a torrential snowstorm, that is driven by the mysterious and magical nature of love. It suggests that love has a transformative and overwhelming power, much like a witch's spell. Witch Announce Tour and First New Album in 39 Years, Share New Song Featuring Sampa the Great: Listen

Witch, the Zambian garage and psych rock band who released music in the 1970s and ’80s, have announced their first new album in 39 years: Zango is out June 2 via Desert Daze Sound. Below, check out the video for the new song “Avalanche of Love,” featuring Sampa the Great.

Zango means ‘meeting place,’” the band wrote in a statement. “Every village [in Zambia] will have this central place, where villagers meet to prepare for work, where youngsters go to learn, where the young ones learn from the elder folks, and where the visitors come and converge. It’s an institution, a place where people are welcomed, and where people come for research. It speaks to our band and its various backgrounds and countries. We are at our own meeting point with our music.”

After a reissue campaign was launched in 2011, Witch returned with live shows. Their journey was documented by filmmaker Gio Arlotta in 2019’s Witch: We Intend to Cause Havoc.

Emmanuel “Jagari” Chanda and Patrick Mwondela are joined by a lineup featuring Jacco Gardner, Nico Mauskoviç, Stefan Lilov, and JJ Whitefield. Find Witch’s upcoming tour dates below.

Reviews for "The Witch Avalanche of Love: A Cautionary Tale"

1. John - 1/5 stars - I found "Witch Avalanche of Love" to be extremely disappointing. The plot was dull and predictable, and the characters were one-dimensional with no depth or development. The writing style was also subpar, with awkward and stilted dialogues that made it difficult to fully engage with the story. Overall, I cannot recommend this book to anyone looking for an exciting and well-written romance novel.
2. Sarah - 2/5 stars - I was really looking forward to reading "Witch Avalanche of Love" based on the synopsis, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The pacing was off, with the story dragging in some parts and rushing in others. Additionally, the romance felt forced and lacked chemistry between the main characters. The world-building and magical elements were underdeveloped, leaving much to be desired. While it had some potential, overall, the execution was lacking and left me feeling unsatisfied as a reader.
3. Mike - 2/5 stars - "Witch Avalanche of Love" was a confusing and convoluted read for me. The plot was all over the place, making it difficult to follow and fully understand what was happening. The characters were poorly fleshed out, and their actions often seemed illogical and inconsistent. There were also several grammatical errors and awkward sentences throughout the book, which further detracted from my reading experience. Overall, I found this book to be a frustrating and unenjoyable read, and I would not recommend it to others.
