White Witch Golf Course is a premier golfing destination located in Jamaica. Situated in the scenic Rose Hall, the course offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. Designed by renowned golf course architect Robert von Hagge, this par-71 championship course is a favorite among golf enthusiasts. The golf course takes its name from the legendary "White Witch of Rose Hall," a Jamaican folklore character. The lush green fairways wind through rolling hills and dense tropical vegetation, creating a challenging and picturesque playing experience. Players have the opportunity to test their skills on 6,859 yards of beautifully manicured greens.
The fairways and tee boxes were all pretty much in "as expected" condition for the price point. Everything was cut tight, there were some problem spots but nothing that you wouldn't see anywhere else. The biggest issue were the greens and the bunkers. Some of the greens had bare spots/dirt/sand plaguing them, but you could tell the course is paying the right attention in an attempt to bring them back to full condition. Bunkers are likely going to need to be fully redone if they want to get a a mid $100 price point; none of them were playable while I was there.
Golfers understand they are in for something different from the very first hole at White Witch Golf Course, seemingly miles above the distant Carribean Sea which dominates the horizon, a reachable par-5 where the tee shot is launched from high to a distant downhill fairway, only to have the second shot climb nearly all the way back in altitude. The misleading component was that my golf now booking said the caddie fees were included but when I arrived they insisted that they were not included and I must pay.
Players have the opportunity to test their skills on 6,859 yards of beautifully manicured greens. With 16 of the 18 holes offering panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, playing at White Witch Golf Course is a delight for the senses. The course not only provides a challenging round of golf but also immerses players in the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at White Witch Golf Course in Jamaica. The course itself was in terrible condition, with overgrown grass and patches of dirt. The greens were uneven and had clearly not been properly maintained. Additionally, the staff was rude and unhelpful, making the overall experience even worse. I would not recommend this golf course to anyone looking for a quality round of golf.

I had high hopes for the White Witch Golf Course, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The course layout was confusing and poorly marked, leading to a frustrating and confusing round. The scenery was beautiful, but that was the only positive aspect of the course. The fairways were unkempt and the greens were slow and bumpy. The lack of upkeep was evident throughout the entire course. It's a shame because with some proper maintenance, this could be a great golfing destination.
