The magical school bus becomes displaced in the cosmic realm. In this thrilling adventure, the lovable Ms. Frizzle and her class find themselves on an unexpected journey through the cosmic realm. As always, the magic school bus takes them on a wild ride like no other. However, this time, things take a twist when the bus becomes displaced in the cosmic realm. Suddenly, the bus finds itself floating in the vastness of space, surrounded by stars, planets, and galaxies of unimaginable beauty and wonder.

Pre-ordered from Hocus-Pocus but it's lost in the mail somewhere. ordered a second just in case, and for examinability, thanks Bill

By the way, I performed it for my wife with and without the small sheet of paper and she liked both presentations but said that maybe she liked the performance without the paper better but did get a kick out of seeing all of those holes in just the paper when I opened the box lid. Besides the fact that strictly penetration illusions are typically not very exciting to watch, there are other factors that would not translate very well to a large stage illusion.

Mister danger magic trick revealed

Just wanted to say that even though this effect was late in coming it was definitely worth the wait. This thing is great. Much better than I expected.

Just stop reading this and buy one right now before it sells out.
In fact, buy two if you want EVERYTHING to be super duper uber examinable.
I’d wager that this is the best “toy” a magician could get for Christmas, certainly for less than 20 bucks.

Posted: Dec 4, 2022 02:29 am The USPS can't seem to handle the increase in packages this year, super slow in my area. Posted: Dec 4, 2022 04:24 am

And of course, it's sitting in my mailbox right now. oh, well, it's ok, this seems to be a very good Tenyo release

Posted: Dec 4, 2022 04:26 am This is the one I have been waiting for. Videoman… did you get two? Posted: Dec 4, 2022 04:49 am

USPS is utter trash and a joke.

This trick is super deceptive, I have no idea how it works. Very impressive. Could the method be applied to a large-scale illusion with a real person? (Ignore the cost)

Just to let everyone know that under the TENYO OF JAPAN, there has been an ongoing discussion of this and the other three Tenyo releases for 2023. The thread is entitled TENYO 2023 COMING SOON.

So far, opinions has been consistently positive for MR. DANGER. I have sung its praises over there and am having trouble putting it down. This could easily be the best release Tenyo has had for a very long time. Truly a fun to perform winner and a fooler as well!

By the way, I performed it for my wife with and without the small sheet of paper and she liked both presentations but said that maybe she liked the performance without the paper better but did get a kick out of seeing all of those holes in just the paper when I opened the box lid.

My thought is that by using the paper, you are covering something up so may make the spectator curious. But, when you lift the lid and they see the holes only in the paper, any suspicion should be eliminated.

Haven’t had an opportunity to determine if it’s stronger with the paper or without.
My gut feeling is the paper will lead them even further down the garden path but it remains to be seen.
I do wish they had included some sample papers cut to size and pre-printed with the body shape, as well as a template so we could print our own. But really can’t argue with what you do get for the low price.

Probably the best pocket sized penetration effect of this type that I’ve ever seen, even compared to some costing many, many times the price.

I had been waiting for it too, and yes, after seeing the first one I immediately bought another.

You can use a paper that has a good transparency so is slightly translucent Posted: Dec 4, 2022 08:52 am Quote: On Dec 4, 2022, Magic Dust wrote:

NATO standard toilet paper should do the job.

I'm waiting for this to arrive.
Looks super good.
Was thinking maybe perform from the get ready set up, and then open to reveal the solid figure. maybe more of a surprise at what's just happened.
Then repeat using the paper..
Any thoughts?

I was thinking that too, but I don't think it'd be better because they'll see it coming and the whole effect will mean nothing until the reveal. Better to have a very puzzling effect throughout.

Anyone who owns this - could the method be used large-scale with a real person on stage?

I suppose you could use this same method for a full-size stage illusion.

Also, looks like this needs a bit of breaking in, it's a little stiff out of the box. Fantastically designed gimmick, as usual with Tenyo

Besides the fact that strictly penetration illusions are typically not very exciting to watch, there are other factors that would not translate very well to a large stage illusion. The two primary ones being that the plastic stick figure is a solid, immovable object whereas an actual human can move and contort their body. The second is that I feel this is one of those effects that benefits greatly from being examined and while a large stage illusion could be examined I don’t believe the effect would be the worth the time and effort to do so. There are plenty of similar stage illusions already in existence and I don’t feel this would be bringing anything new to the table.

I feel the same can be said of this trick. The stiff man can't be "contorted", but it can be swivelled, pivoted, moved around. But this is not possible (or apparently possible) because it's in a groove and snuggly sandwiched between two sheets of plastic. It also seems as though the panels are transparent around the shape of the man. So if a real person were put into such a contraption, one would not simply be able to say "he just wiggled out of the way". (You might be right though, there is some truth to what you're saying.)

I also don't feel this would need to be examined, as it's visually deceptive as it is. There is nowhere for the person to move out of the way of the swords. Nothing gimmicked could help him avoid the swords as he's standing right there where they are penetrating him, and the whole thing is turned 360 with the swords going through him.

I've never seen an illusion as straightforward and simple as this one. Two sheets of plexiglass sandwiching a person with swords penetrating them all over the body and can be seen from all angles. No bases, no boxes. I find that as "exciting" and perplexing as most other illusions.

Ultimately, I'm curious because if the method is applicable to doing it on stage, maybe there is a way to modify it/improve it and create something new.

I recieved it today. Show it to my little daughter and my wife. They had no clue how it's done.
By the way: Make Sure that Mr. Danger rests completely on the bottom of the plate. If not, you can see a little bit of the secret when you open the door again.

This one is as close to Real Magic as you can get. The instructions tell you to do it before you learn the secret. Its that good. Just hope it last due to the plastic. Great effect.

The talk of taking this principal and applying it to a larger stage illusion is interesting. Puts me in mind of how Zig-Zag was so simple yet so astonishing.

So happy that Tenyo has produced another classic!

By the way, I performed it for my wife with and without the small sheet of paper and she liked both presentations but said that maybe she liked the performance without the paper better but did get a kick out of seeing all of those holes in just the paper when I opened the box lid.
